She woke up, sore, plagued by nightmares influenced by the events of the previous night.
Where was she?
She didn't recognise the room. It was small and empty, save for the small mat in the corner of the room.
"H-hello?", Celestiel walked to the door, knocking it gently. "F-father?"
The door burst open suddenly and the knob met the chest of the unsuspecting little girl. Clutching her chest, she yelped in pain, stumbling back and falling on her bottom.
The intruder didn't seem to care that she had hurt her. It was the servant who had held her down for her father yesterday.
Instinctively, Celestiel crawled back in fear. "I...I want to see my father"
"The king has ordered me to make sure you do not leave this room, young mistress", the servant bluntly replied.
Celestiel's eyes widened. "But I'm supposed to pick berries with my mother today-"
