I knew, without a doubt, that staring a zombie in the eye wasn't the smartest move to make. Like most animals, they took that as a sign of aggression and challenge. But the woman beside me didn't seem to know that.
She continued to stare at it for a few minutes before the zombie shifted subtly.
Letting out a roar, the zombie launched itself at her, ripping into her neck and drenching me in the arterial spray. She didn't even have time to scream before she died, her body sinking to the ground at my feet.
