The guys jumped to their feet, and they started yelling and arguing with each other.
Some of the guys thought that we needed to leave right now, while others argued that we needed to save as many people as we could before we saved ourselves.
Leaning back in my chair, I watched them continue to carry one.
I remember laughing with some of my co-workers back in Canada that if women ruled the world, it would be a lot different. The joke was that women knew how to compromise and make nice with others. We knew how to get shit down in a fast and effective way, while men view 'ruling' as something completely different.
I hadn't really considered what those differences looked like until right this moment.
"Guys," I sighed. When they didn't quite hear me, I yelled a bit louder. "Guys!"
