Mom and Dad had managed to convince me to take three days off school, but the inability to not leave my room was driving me bat shit crazy.
Oh, don't get me wrong. If this was a normal day, and I was told to go spend the day in bed, I would have lapped up every second of it. But, since I was still recovering from a concussion, I was unable to watch anything on TV or my tablet. And forget about reading. I could only do my favorite activities for around three hours a day.
And it was killing me worse than the pain in my head.

Really, the only highlight was when Bai Long Qiang came over after school.
"Ugh! I don't understand this!" He grunted, throwing his pen down onto my desk as he spun around in my chair to face me.
"What are you working on?" I asked, turning my attention away from the riveting ceiling above me and to the brooding boy beside me.
