The new world was vast, and with nothing like countries or race it was meant to make everyone equal. But the rich and powerful world leaders who had no intention of letting go of their money and power, used their money to buy large amounts of gold, which were used to buy lands, take over NPC cities and obtain top level equipment and items, which they used to support people of their choice by creating guilds and backing them.
Though the game had originally offered the opportunity for equality for all, this resulted in the rich remaining rich and the poor remaining poor.
The game had now presented a harsh reality to it's players, those who didn't have a backing or enough money to buy coins could only earn some through accepting NPC quests, trading or killing monsters. But without a background even if you were brave enough it wasn't entirely enough because of the lack of quality equipment and items which resulted in them returning empty handed and even having the durability of their equipment reduced. This resulted in cities litered with beggars, more and more players becoming red-named bandits.
