Chapter 38 - A Question

"Someone is in a hurry. As for who's in a hurry, I won't say."

Li Si held the binoculars in his hand. They were a bargain he'd just bought from a stall at a price of three-fifty a bite.

He saw the [Minch] slowly leaving the harbour, ripping off a number of signs and coloured flags.

The crowd let out a gasp of surprise, and the fans who were engrossed in eating and taking pictures left their seats one by one.

Luckily, the open-air restaurant was located far away from the harbour, so no one was hurt for the time being.

The photographer boy stood on the sidelines, anxious: "Brother Li, let's hurry up and call the police!"

"Well, you report it, it's almost time."

Li Si stood to the side of the road and looked around, seemingly waiting for someone.

The photography boy hurriedly took out his mobile phone. After explaining the situation to the police, he once again looked at Li Si.

Instead, he saw Li Si walk straight to the middle of the road, stop a motorbike-riding guy, and have a cordial and friendly exchange with him.

The exchange went roughly as follows:

Li Si: "Nice bike? How much did you buy it for."

Motorbike guy: "None of your business, get out!"

Li Si: "Oh."

He smothers the motorbike guy's helmet with a punch, knocking the other guy off his feet.

Moto-boy tries to fight back, putting up a crooked boxing hold, only to be met with a kick to the face bone by Li Si.

Wailing and falling to his knees, all Moto Boy could think about was pain.

Before he could wake up from the pain, Li Si stepped onto his bike. With a kick of the throttle, the motorbike was gone.

Photography Guy watched in disbelief as this happened, and it took all his strength to curb the urge to call the police.

He gingerly stepped around the motorbike guy who couldn't even stand up, then hurriedly called himself a taxi. As for the motorbike man ...

The person that Li Si hit, what does it have to do with my photographer?

On the other hand, Li Si all the way through the wind.

The car navigation constantly prompts "you have exceeded the speed limit", "you have exceeded the speed limit", "please stop", "you have been marked by the traffic police ".

He ignored them all.

As soon as the motorbike turned the corner, a figure suddenly flashed out from the diagonal corner, scaring Li Si to step on the accelerator.

The motorbike pulled out a deep black drag marks on the ground, Li Si parked the car, a look found that it was Shu Hua.

Shu Hua was just about to ask Li Si where she was going when she heard the motorbike roar. Li Si unexpectedly crashed directly into her without the slightest intention of slowing down.

Shu Hua was stunned and subconsciously thought that Li Si was going to kill someone.

In the next moment, her feet were dangling in the air, and her whole body was spinning in the sky, already sitting on the back seat of the motorbike.

Shu Hua froze and looked at Li Si's back. She was very good at physics, so she knew how much strength it took to pick up a person with one hand on a rapidly travelling motorbike.

What kind of man-crane was this?

"You ..."

Li Si pressed down as the bike accelerated further, the sudden huge push crushing Shu Hua's desire to confide into her throat.

The motorbike flew through the streets and alleys.

It took time for the ship to accelerate, and in just a few minutes, the [Minch] hadn't quite left the harbour yet, and a bunch of fans crowded the pier to take pictures.

The guests of 'Typical Chinese Restaurant' stood in a row, all looking confused.

Who am I? Where am I?

How did this ship just sail away?

The motorbike stops near the harbour, and Li Si tells Shu Hua to get off. But before he could say anything, Shu Hua had already flung himself to the ground:

"Vomit---"

The image was too beautiful for Li Si to dare to look at it more.

He twisted the front end of the bike and the motorbike drove onto the riverbank. The ear-piercing roar of the engine attracted the attention of the man on the boat.

The [Minch] gradually accelerated, the motorbike also accelerated, and finally the two were temporarily neck and neck.

Li Si saw an old man drill out of the cockpit and stand on the deck, staring at himself without moving, his face calm.

It was the old captain.

Hiding really deep, even Li Si didn't suspect this old man who was out of breath even when he took a few steps.

He had thought that the only drug dealers hiding on the [Minch] were the two boatmen.

Inside the cockpit, the drug dealers kept busy, turning the engine power to maximum.

The ship accelerated again, gradually leaving the motorbike behind, and Li Si also fiercely stepped on the accelerator when he saw this.

But this improvised motorbike wasn't a good deal after all.

He was going to be unable to catch up with the [Minch].

Li Si and the old captain locked eyes, and the latter took off his hat and waved it at Li Si.

"The third master remembers your face, Li Si!" The old man shouted at him, "You're in his way, you definitely won't live through this year!"

"For the next few days, remember to eat and drink well and spend more time with your family. If I were you, I'd find a place to kill myself. Those tricks Master San used to deal with his enemies, even I feel scared when I see them!"

The old captain's voice was old and his tone sincere, but because of this, it could make people feel that what he said was the truth.

He had a kind gaze, as if he was really thinking about Li Si.

But Li Si's expression didn't have any ups and downs, he just slowly reached out his hand, then pulled out an object wrapped in newspaper.

It had just been taken out of the depository and still had a yellow label on it.

Layers of the newspaper were removed, revealing the true nature of what was underneath.

It was a pistol.

Qsg92 pistol, police special, 15 rounds, range fifty metres.

The old captain also saw the pistol, his expression stiffened for a split second before a hint of madness swept across the bottom of his eyes.

"Good, good, good! I'm convinced, you're even fucking meaner than a drug dealer! Even we don't dare to carry our guns around."

The old man stared at Li Si dead on, the corners of his mouth grinning, revealing eerie white teeth.

"Come on, shoot me! What is the effective range of a police pistol, you probably know better than me."

Li Si was silent for a few seconds, then laughed.

The muzzle of his gun pointed at the old captain gradually moved and finally locked onto the stern of the [Minch].

Li Si said in a loud voice, "Hey! Remember what question I asked the first time we met?"

Question?

The old captain blinked in confusion, suddenly he remembered something, his eyes widened steeply and his blood seemed to be slowly freezing.

[When we boarded the ship, I noticed that the ship was using an external fuel tank that could be simply detonated through the exhaust pipe.]

[May I ask what we should do then?]

The old captain, true to his name, abandoned the lives of his two men in an instant and took off his shirt to jump into the water.

But a man can't move as fast as a bullet.

Li Si pulled the trigger and emptied an entire magazine in a second. Those bullets drilled into the external fuel tank with pinpoint accuracy, and in the next instant, flames burst into the sky.

Boom !!!!

The old captain, his men, and the ship's cargo were all engulfed in a violent explosion.

There was a roar of joy from the distant harbour, and fans probably thought it was a specially arranged fireworks display.

The Minch's tanks were filled with fuel.

The old captain had always planned to use the cruise ship to escape, so he wouldn't let the ship run out of fuel.

The evil consequences of this calculation were ultimately reserved for himself.

The old captain jumped into the water in the nick of time, but the petrol that leaked onto the surface of the water burst into flames, turning him into a fireman within seconds.

If he had to do it again, he would have chosen to stay on board.

Blowing up would have been far more comfortable than burning to death.

With a mournful scream, Li Si stopped the motorbike and blew smoke from his pistol like in a western.

"Ah, it's hot." He spat out his tongue.

(There were three ambushes, all filled in this chapter)
