Chapter 54 - 53 – THOUGHTS

'When they both trained with the grand elder,' I honestly did not know the extent of the land's boundaries. However, I have an exceptionally wide range, and yet everyone only feels the immense vibration in the ground. It's clear to everyone, at least those old enough to understand, that their training alone is causing massive earthquakes across the soil.

I can see my range increasing day by day, indicating that I am slowly but surely moving to the next realm of power. I've asked whose range covers this entire land and how everything is separated if everywhere is covered in sand. How is there a distinction? Privy to being a member of the Assembly, questions get answered.

I was told that there were a few more huge lands like the one we live on, and nobody's range fully covers any of these lands. I asked why we do not visit.

"You can visit, but only when you are strong enough to go and come back by yourself," I was told.

I guess no one wanted to take me on an excursion."

The distinction between these lands was the deep void between them. The grand elder explained that they used to be filled with water, at least according to the history passed down by our ancestors. However, now the area where an immensely large body of water should be is nothing but a very deep void.

The grand elder once said to me, "There is no water holding this land up, and that is why the sky is so much farther to reach."

I pondered, "This vast emptiness causes the distinction between all these lands. A place once filled with water, how is that possible? How much water do you need to hold up these giant masses of soil? How is the sky even farther? Has he gone beyond the sky before? This SKY!!"

It is said that the grand elder has been living for thousands of years and is at least five thousand years older than everyone else, including the chief, Mul, and the Generals, who are all around the same age and from the same generation. They were all within the range of a thousand years old, with only a few years separating them.

In our known history, the first true super genius was the Grand Elder. Some even argue that he was the first genius, but he denies it. If the grand elder is at least five thousand years older than everyone, what about the other elders who are much older than the Chief and hold all the history about us?
