When the two of them walked out of the palace, the shining sphere was waiting for them. Hovering over the ground, glowing with a gentle blue light.
"What did you mean, it'll be years before I leave the island?" David asked, but Misu just shook her head.
"I can't say too much David. Master forbade me from telling you any details. Just that the task you've taken on is far more difficult than you first assumed." Misu said as she placed a hand on the control panel, causing the side of the sphere to closed.
Outside the sphere, all the lined up soldiers saluted as the sphere rose in to the air. Shooting up in to the sky, before speeding towards the north.
This time, Misu stood as the control panel, carefully spinning and turning the ring that floated over the crystal, guiding the sphere.
"How can you tell where we're headed?" David asked, all around the sphere, he could only see blank metal, there wasn't even the smallest opening.
