"Please keep moving, sir!" Rudy shouted out from behind David, who had stopped in his tracks.
David could feel a strange discomfort building in himself, a sense of wrongness.
Ahead of him was a totally featureless corridor, it was all polished metal, forming a circular tube. There was no clear distinction between the ceiling or the floor.
"Sir. If you continue standing here, we will have to use force." Rudy muttered from behind David, and David pushed himself ahead.
David walked into the corridor, his own face reflected in the walls, filling the surroundings with distorted copies of himself.
It was a though his own face was mocking him, stretched out and twisted. The door behind David swung shut, and Rudy's boots clanked loudly against the metal.
'System, do you sense anything odd?' He had to see if the sensory web could find anything unusual about this place. Perhaps it could explain the strange feeling he had.
