"Johann, where are we going?" David's voice was shaky, as hard as he tried to mask the anxiety he was feeling, his feelings were written on his face.
"Huh? To the port of course." Johann answered immediately, then looked over to David, his brow furrowing in concern.
"You alright kid?" Johann stopped in the middle of dirt road, the crowd immediately parting around him. People in this part of Lightharbor were much more cautious, and even at a glance could tell that Johann wasn't someone to be trifled with.
"I'm fine. Just some bad memories around here." David gave Johann a forced smile.
"If you say so." Johann didn't need to hear anymore, nothing good ever happened on this side of Lightharbor.
David heaved a sigh of relief when they passed the alley that would take them towards the back alley bar that he and Cherie had ended up in on their first night here.
