I stood on the balcony as I thought about everything. I heard a car drive up the drive way and that's when I saw Soobin come out of his car.
I was about to say something when Suga met him halfway.
"Leave." Suga said as he pointed towards the road.
Soobin laughed really loud. "I just came to see if you really did come back."
"I live here." He replied.
Soobin chuckled. "Your dad got us all looking for you because you didn't even say goodbye. It seems to me that you didn't even sleep in the tent or am I wrong?"
I just furrowed my eyebrows as it looked like he was enjoying his view of Suga being really silent.
"Tell him I'm fine." Suga said as he was about to turn around and leave.
"She's here, huh?" He smirked.
"She's my maid. What do you think?" Suga replied.
"No, you saw Aponi on her knees last night with that guy and-"
A tree behind him collapsed on the ground really close to them. My eyes widen as I jumped a little. When I looked back at them only Soobin was there standing. Suga was no where to be seen. Me and Soobin made eye contact but I quickly turned around and went back inside.
"Suga saw me last night doing that to Robert but he didn't do nothing to stop him... He didn't even care to help me. I pulled myself together after all I was here because of that broken vase. He shouldn't help me at all. He must of enjoyed seeing me all b-broken..." I thought to myself. I went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. I could hardly sustain the glass of water in my hand that it shattered all over the kitchen floor.
Suga came out from his office and looked on the ground.
"Clean it up." He ordered as he walked around to get some water for himself.
I went to go get the broom and I couldn't help but want to yell at him. I wanted to know if he enjoyed seeing me all torn apart.
A piece wouldn't go in the dustpan. So, I grabbed it with my hand but it cut me. I winced in pain but didn't look up at him. I heard his footsteps walk away like nothing happened.
"Didn't he see or hear me?" I questioned myself.
I got a bandaid and wrapped my finger in it. I didn't see Suga come back as I had a little hope he would though.
"Hurry up and clean my room!" He shouted from upstairs.
"My finger though." I softly said.
I went to his room and I saw him get in bed.
"You have until midnight."
"What if I don't-"
"You better." He said in a very serious and scary tone.
I began to clean his windows and I couldn't stop myself from thinking again.
"How did he see me? My mother would have seen him go up the stairs. No, I would have heard him coming up the stairs because the floors made cracking noises.
I turned to look at him.
"What? You want me to do it for you?" He said without even looking at me.
I looked away as I had no right to even question him but it bothered me so much. It was embarrassing talking about the situation too.
I felt a sharp unbearable pain in my stomach that I fell to my knees. I gasped as it hurt to much to even move. Suga jumped out of bed and got down to see what was happening. I just held my stomach and curled in a ball.
He whispered. "Come here."
I began to cry as I stuttered, "I-i can't... it hurts to much."
He picked me up, put me down on his bed and covered me up with his blanket. He also put his pillow over my body. "I'll be right back."
"No, wait." I tried to stop him. I didn't think a pain killer could fix this. It was just an unexplainable pain.
"I'm going to help you. Just stay here." He said before leaving.
I just squeezed that pillow as hard as I could and tried not to feel the pain. I couldn't understand. I just felt like I would die any moment as I began to sweat alot and the tears wouldn't stop.
Suga went outside and went after Soobin. Unfortunately, he jumped into the deep lake ahead and disappeared.
Suga starred ahead and thought about why he did that to her. He walked back home and thought about what to do.
Suga went to go touch my forehead.
"My doctor is coming. Don't worry." He said. I tried not closing my eyes as I felt really weak and sick.
"She has a high fever due to the infection. I gave her a shot. She should feel way much better after this." He said while he got his stuff to leave. I knocked out after that and didn't wake up until the next morning.
"Are you serious? Soobin did that? For what? What is he gaining from this?" Yeji asked.
Suga sighed as he said. "He wanted me to see a sneak peak of what he can do to others."
"Are you going to tell her?" Yeji asked.
Suga just stayed silent.
"You know what? She may have broke your vase but I think you should let her go. She's no use in all of this." Yeji said as she put her hand over his for comfort.
My eyes widen as I didn't want to leave. I couldn't go back to my place. I walked out and interrupted.
"Hello, what would you like me to do today?" I asked getting their full attention as they quickly turned back to look at me.
Yeji smiled and clapped her hands. "It's going to be my birthday and I want to throw a party here."
"Absolutely, not." Suga said without hesitation.
"Aponi, get ready. I want to throw it tonight!" She excitingly said making me promise to help her.
Until someone knocked on the door and we all looked towards it. For some unknown reason they looked like they feared whatever was on the other side. I went to go open it and it was a woman.
"Hi, my name is Yeo-been. I'm looking for Aponi."
I furrowed my eyebrows. "That's me."
"Well, I'm your lawyer now. I came to take you out of here immediately."
"What?" Me and Suga said at the sametime.
She took out some papers, walked in and slammed it on the coffee table.
"Suga has been lying to you this whole time. That vase doesn't cost those millions of dollars like he said. It's only worth a few thousands because-"
"I still can't afford those few thousands..." I interrupted her
"Aponi, that vase wasn't even the real one. It was actually the fake one."
"What are you saying?!" Suga began to shout. It seemed like he didn't know either.
"There is the proof right there. It's fake. You can't hold her back anymore. Aponi you are free to go."
And just like that. I was free to go. I smiled a little because I or Ina didn't owe that money anymore. However, I didn't want to go home.
Suga looked through the documents and called his lawyer.
"Come! Tell me what the fuk is going on?! WHERE IS MY MOTHER'S VASE?!" He yelled through the phone. My eyes widen as I saw him tear up. Suga went to his office and Yeji ran after him but he locked the door.
"Suga open up. Calm down. That means the real one is still out there somewhere! This is actually really great news. Cheer up."
Yeo-been got my attention again. "Aponi, get your things and let's go. I'll drive you back home." She said with a smile.
"I'm going to stay a few more days. I have to help set up a party."
"It's not your job."
"I promised I would help. Anyways, I want to do this."
"Okay, when is this party? So, I can pick you up." She questioned.
My gaze went to Yeji and she thought for a moment. "This Friday!"
I felt relieved as it gave me time to think of what I would do.
