I opened my eyes as I saw a human shadow outside the glass. I gulped as I was scared to look. "A robber." I thought to myself. I slowly looked and saw it was Suga. It looked like he was putting Ash around the house. I couldn't help but look at him weird. He quickly looked at me but I closed my eyes. I opened my eyes slowly and saw him grabbing the side of his stomach. That's when I noticed a blood stain. My eyes widen now and I couldn't help but feel really nervous. I got out of bed and went down the hall. I waited for him to come in even though there was different ways of getting into the house. I still thought he would use the main entrance and to my luck he did. He went into the kitchen and saw him putting away some big bandages. I could hear him wince in pain. I went back to my room and locked the door.
"I'm so scared." I whispered to myself. I could feel my heart thump harder against my chest.
I got in bed and my thoughts couldn't stop making different scenarios of what exactly happened to Suga.
The next morning I was nervous to knock on his door but I got the courage to do so after a while. However, I looked around his room and bathroom but he wasn't there. I gasped and thought maybe he went to the hospital. I shook the thought away.
I mopped the living room and kitchen as I waited for him to appear. It turned into 4 p.m. and he showed up but with Yeji. I examined him and he looked like nothing happened.
"Oh! Aponi can you make some lemonade please. We're so thirsty we went shopping." Yeji begged with puppy eyes.
Me and Suga looked at each other for maybe just a second before I nodded my head towards Yeji.
"I'll go put this up in your closet." Yeji said before grabbing the bags.
"No, it's Aponi job. Just take a seat please. You're probably tired from walking on those heels all day." Suga said before going into the kitchen.
Yeji giggled. "Sugaaaa you know me so well! That's why I like you."
I looked at him as he blushed and smiled shyly. He grabbed some glass cups and then proceeded to stare at me. I noticed and looked back at him. I shyly looked away and thought he would stop but he wouldn't. I began to drop the lemons on the counter and he luckily caught them from falling on the ground. I looked back at him and he started to squeeze the lime out of it like it wasn't hard. I got some sugar and put some in. I mixed it and he began to stare at me again.
"Was he examining how I did this? So, he can yell at me?" I thought to myself. Finally I spoke out. "What?" I asked looking directly into his eyes.
He just continue to stare at me but then I remembered he was hurt last night. I shouldn't be mean or rude.
Yeji also began to stare at me and now everything became uncomfortable. I began to sweat a little and blush.
Suga looked back at Yeji and then back at me. "Alright, let's add some ice and that will do it." He said walking to the refrigerator.
Yeji got a call and looked at Suga.
"Do I want to know?" Suga asked annoyed.
Yeji covered her phone with her hand. "Sugaaaa." She quietly said.
He looked away and took a sip to taste it. "It's good." He said while looking at me and giving me a smile for the first time ever. I couldn't help but feel good.
Yeji sighed. "It was your aunt. Shes trying to get ahold of you but you won't answer."
"I don't care. Especially, if it's about Soobin. He deserves that and more." Suga said.
"Sugaaaa!" Yeji whined.
"Here take this with you if you're going to be acting like that."
"Aren't you coming?"
"No, I'm going to go swim." He informed her.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion because I knew his injury could get infected.
"Get my bags and put them up for me." He ordered me. I had a feeling it was just to get rid of me. I got the bags and went upstairs slowly.
"I'm sure you'll figure this out." I heard Yeji tell Suga.
Suga sighed and said. "Well, it's going to be hard cause you couldn't do nothing yourself."
Yeji gasped and said. "Unless she's your m-"
Suga cut her off by saying. "Okay! I really need to go and so do you." He smiled as he tried to get rid of her.
I went into his room and was so confused. I didn't understand nothing anymore. He walked in making me come back to what I was doing.
"I'm going to go swimming. Pack up my stuff and meet me in the car." He said before leaving.
I nodded my head and packed his stuff in duffel bag. "This is a great opportunity to see him half naked." I thought to myself. The ride was quiet but I could sense him examining me. More than usual though which it worried me. I didn't take my eyes off of him once we got to the pool club.
"What?" He asked without looking at me.
"I'm just waiting to see if you need something?"
"Just stay there unless you see me drowning. Call for help." He chuckled as he was being sarcastic.
"Want to race?" A little kid asked.
"Sure. Just don't cry when I beat you." Suga smirked as he replied.
Finally, Suga took off his shirt, came up to me to hand it into my hand and my jaw dropped. He just smiled at me and I grabbed it. I examined him all around and there was not one single scratch on him. I was shook that I was trying to remember if this was all a dream but I couldn't tell.
After, sitting there and thinking. I remembered the ash he put around the house. Would it still be there? Was it really ash? Why he do that anyways? All these questions were killing me. Until, I got home and looked for myself I knew that would determine everything.
When we finally got home I went to look and the ash was there. So, I must of dreamed of him in blood but the ash was real. I went downstairs and saw him sitting in the living room sketching vases in a book. I couldn't help myself I had to ask.
"Why did you put ash around the house?" I blurted out. I don't think I could get fired at this point.
"It's part of my culture. You can ask anybody they do it too. Your welcome." He said before leaving up to his room.
"What?" I replied confused.
I looked it up, it said to keep insects away and help seeds grow in gardens.
"It's part of my culture?" I questioned it. I sighed and remembered what Robert said. "Stop sticking your nose in other people's business."
I rolled my eyes at the scene in my mind how it played again. I went to bed and fell asleep.
