"Don't you think you're overreacting?" Allison asked her.
"How?" Eliza asked and sniffed.
"Well if your mom had told you about your brothers, you would be so eager to see them and ask every moment about them. How they are, who they are, when you would see them. And that would stir your mom's emotions causing the wound in her heart to never heal. Did you want such a situation for her?" She explained and Eliza paused.
"I, I never thought of it that way." She said,
"If I were your mom, I'd do the same." Allison said.
"You mean, she did the right thing by not telling me?" Eliza asked.
"Stop acting like a novice, Eliza. You're smarter than this. I'm sorry to bring this up but," she sighed, "...how would you feel if you had a child for..."
"Don't say the name." She warned, sternly interrupting her.
