Kim Seoyoon.
A young beautiful pop idol in her prime before this all started.
He had enjoyed many of her songs and admired her for her beauty.
A strong woman who despite what had happened to her, survived and became stronger instead.
For that he would help.
As he was lost in his thoughts, he heard the hooligans behind her shouted at him
"Woooo look at that, a hero trying to save the beauty!!! Hahahahah"
Hooligan 1 with a leather jacket and a mohawk.
"Boy mind your own business and get the fuck out of my way!"
Hooligan 2 with colourful spiked hair.
"Hey pretty boy, want to join us? We can let you have a taste. Hhahahaha"
Hooligan 3 with long braided hair
Seoyoon looked at Kiel with fear in her teary eyes, pleading.
Kiel ignored them, looked straight into her beautiful eyes and said to her:
"There is no free lunch. I can protect you but from now on you belong to me."
"Sa..save me, I'll do whatever you want."
She replied while holding back her tears.
"You will be mine. You lose your freedom, body and soul. From now on you will obey every single thing I say. Are you sure?"
"YES!!! I'll do anything, please save me."
She begged while trembling.
This was when Kiel saw burn marks on her exposed shoulder which was previously covered by her hair.
This explained her fear. They must have tortured and played with her, sick bastard. Did they think they were cats playing with their food?
Kiel looked into her eyes deeply and said:
"Make sure you don't regret your choice today."
After that, Kiel pulled her behind him, looked at the hooligans and said:
"No one hurts my property and gets away with it."
The bunch of hooligans jeered at Kiel.
Kiel then shouted:
"Tower: Broadcast On"
"Checking Qualification: Check Passed
Top Candidate can Broadcast to the dome"
A loud chime sounded and the scene where Kiel was standing was broadcasted to the whole hall for all candidates to see.
Seeing he was on the screen, Kiel proclaimed:
"I'm the strongest for now. So I make the rules.
I do not allow rape. Punishment death"
The hooligans were amazed when they saw the broadcast. When they heard Kiel's proclamation, they cackled like he was a fool.
"1v8, acting tough in front of the chick? I'm level 10 and I have changed to mage class. I can even solo kill an Orc."
Hooligan 4 that looked like a Japanese gangster said.
"I'll teach you to be a good boy punk!!"
Hooligan 5 cursed.
Drawing "Novice SwordMage Blade(E)", Kiel casted "Instant Step(S)" and appeared behind them.
With a slash he cut 4 of them at the waist.
After which, he casted 4 "Basic Fire Blast(D)" and left the 4 remaining hooligans to burn.
The sight of 4 human beings cut at the waist screaming in pain and dying slowly was horrifying.
To top it off there were four others who were being burnt alive and screaming, flailing around trying desperately to put out the fire futilely.
This display of brutality left many weaker men and women pale, some even vomited while others pissed their pants.
Most who survived Level 2 have survived bloodshed. But not many were accustomed to brutal savagery yet.
Kiel called the scared and pale-faced Seoyoon over, ignoring the dying men who were cut in half or were burning and walked towards another area where he knew another such event was going on.
The crowd parted like the sea parted by Noah.
Damn this felt awesome.
It took him 3 minutes to reach where he wanted.
Just as he predicted, another famous actress was surrounded by a group of guys and was having her clothes ripped off piece by piece.
The fair exposed skins were so tantalising.
No!! Kiel shook his head. This is wrong.
He continued walking forward.
The pitiful girl was crying and was down to her last few pieces.
She was in tears desperately clinging on to what was left on her body, struggling to get away and was begging pitifully for help.
Beside her were a few dead men who seemed to have tried defending or helping her.
Sigh good men died fast.
Kiel simply strode in with Soeyoon tagging closely behind him and walked up to her.
He lifted her up and repeated what he said to Seoyoon earlier;
"There is no free lunch. I can protect you but from now on, you are mine."
She stood her ground and stared at Kiel, teary eyed and face full of indignation.
Outside she was adored, loved and respected by many.
Here it all meant nothing, she even barely survived the tower levels.
Now she had to choose to be this man's pet or be ravaged by the bunch of animals behind her.
Kiel smiled, he looked up at the screen above and noted that the broadcast was still going on.
He looked at the the actress Li Bing Xue, also known as Xue Er, and spoke:
"Choose, I will not ask twice."
Gritting her pearl white teeth, Xue Er nodded:
"I'll join you. I am yours, but I want them dead."
Kiel replied by walking forward wielding his sword and saying:
"Don't regret your choice."
"Boy, 10 of us here are at least level 14 and have changed class, you better know what is good for you."
One of the Gangsters threatened.
Kiel replied with a dash and a chop.
The head rolled and all hell broke loose.
It was an easy fight, with "Basic Mana Armour(C)" and "Basic Mana Sword(C)" they could not even break his defence and their weapons couldn't even block his sword.
In under a minute, the fight was over. Some of the gangsters were still rolling on the floor, moaning and dying a slow death whilst no one dared to come forward to help them.
Everyone around him cowered. The ruthlessness he displayed crippling those gangsters up, letting them die slowly made them truly understand that he was no saint.
It was better to stay away from him and never to provoke such a devil.
He turned to look at Xue Er and nodded. He walked towards her offering her his blade.
Xue Er reached out with her trembling fair hands. But as she gripped the hilt, she seemed to find her resolve.
Taking the Blade from Kiel, she walked up to the gangsters who were about to destroy her life moments ago and started to kill them one by one.
Blood spurted all over her delicate face and body.
She looked like she had crawled out from a blood bath.
Then, she walked back to Kiel and returned him his sword with eyes firm with resolve.
"From now and forever, I am yours."
Kiel nodded satisfactorily then he looked up, and the screen showed him over looking everyone:
"The world that you understood no longer exists.
Only Power reigns supreme.
Be strong, your fate is yours.
The weak have no rights.
There is no law, no government, no knight in shining armour.
Life is cheap and if you have no strength, you have no value, you are worthless.
What could happen to you will be much worse than what you ever thought possible.
You are all on your own. The sooner you realise this, the better.
But let me warn you. Regardless of your choice, never cross my path.
If you ever do, I will cut you down.
I wish you the best of luck.
For you all will need it."
Then he called:
"Tower: Broadcast Off"
The screen on the sky immediately disappeared.
He had made his point. This should keep some animals in check and give most people a reality check.
Kiel had done his part.
As he walked away, he pulled some jackets off the gangsters, tossed them to Xue Er and Seoyoon and motioned for them to follow him.
The whole hall was now calm and there wasn't any that dared to commit foolish crime again.
As he reached the pillar where he first spawned. Kiel turned around and sat down.
Everyone hurriedly avoided him like he was a plague.
He had said what he needed.
He had planted the seeds.
They all needed to grow strong, to face reality and stay out of his way.
With his warning, he hoped the humans would be able to survive better in this life.
Suddenly, he seemed to recall all those people who helped him in his previous life.
Those people he left behind.
Those people who trusted him.
Those people he betrayed.
Kiel mumbled:
'No more. I'll fix it in this life. I promise"
