Xue Er had no idea how she had managed to survive shivering in the cold night with a full bladder.
Fear can really push a person to the limit.
Xue Er could not stand it any longer and when the monster was nowhere to be seen.
No way in hell she would be pissing from the edge of the rock outcrop, she told herself.
She had rushed down the cliff despite scraping herself.
Covered in scratches and having a very strong urge to pee. She rushed to the nearby bushes and relieved herself.
After holding it in for a night then finding an outlet was such a great feeling she felt her whole body shivered.
She had been lucky that there are no Gharls around.
After cleaning up herself with the grasses, she roamed the area where she had encountered Thabbits and had managed to hunt them.
Even then killing these was challenging.
While cutting the grass to make a bedding to use in one of the Thabbit caves, Xue Er found that the grass would ooze a sticky sap when cut and the grass when weaved together would make a strong rope.
She then came up with ways to set up traps with those sticky goo and the grass to entrap more Gharls and Thabbits before killing them with her sword.
After killing a dozen Gharls, she heard a prompt from the tower system that she could leave.
Overjoyed, she had wanted to immediately leave, but finding the oasis, decided to explore a bit for possible gains.
Maybe there was a treasure like in the movie script that was waiting for her to discover.
After enjoying a nice bath, Xue Er found a beautiful Orb.
When she got closer, it read "Advanced Spell Casting(A)"
Without thinking much, she had excitedly picked up the skill orb and learnt it when the system prompted her.
Immediately after, she heard loud creaking and saw the statue start to move.
Oh Shit,Oh Shit, oh shit.
She had no delusion she would be the protagonist and the statue would then obey her.
Xue Er knew that in most tales, guardians of treasures would be very hostile.
She ran with all her might.
After a while, she decided to take a peep behind.
What she saw made her legs go weak as the two statues were closing in on her.
Right before she could call to leave the tower, she felt the ground beneath her feet tremble and saw an impossibly massive Gharl emerge from under the oasis.
The hesitated no more and screamed at the top of her lungs:
"LEAVE LEVEL NOW!!!!"
In a flash of white she had returned to the great hall.
The exhausted Xue Er fell down to her butt and shudders at the thought of the big monster.
'I have to be more careful next time,' She told herself.
After she calmed down, her attention was caught by the green translucent window in front of her:
"Level One, Standard Clear Completed.
Calculating rewards…
Chosen Basic Straight Sword(E) can now be brought out.
Basic Straight Sword(E) Acquired:
Basic Straight Sword(E): +2 Damage
You will be teleported out now."
Looking around, she saw everyone was spawning one after another totally confused and still trying to get a sense of what had actually happened.
Some were crying, some were crippled while others were sitting in stunned silence.
After 5 minutes, people started to interact with each other.
She had managed to put on a mask she had on her and hide her identity.
Then she heard a system prompt:
"The last survivor of Level One has returned.
Total of 2,837,926,641 survivors of 7,857,836,984 candidates were detected.
Next stage will begin in 5 minutes.
Please prepare yourself."
Xue Er quietly sat down and watched as time went by.
Everyone was still too confused to talk, while she tried to come to terms with reality.
She was never one to easily give up. Always looking for ways to get out of any predicament.
She watched with dread as the time was ticking down, everyone was breathless and some were even begging to not participate.
She knew, it was all useless. They just had to prepare themselves for the next level and hope to survive.
Then, the dreaded emotionless voice sounded again;
"Welcome to the Tower of Extinction, Humans.
Our Universe is facing invasion from the Apocalypse.
All worlds must contribute to survive.
But your species are pitifully weak.
So the gods will give you a chance to gain power.
Fight . Clear the tower. You live.
Fail. Die. Extinction.
Only the worthy will survive..
Level Two trial will begin in
Ten
Nine
…
Three
Two
One.
Level Two begins"
Then, the unfamiliar flash of light and she showed up on the edge of the forest.
Adjusting to the smell of grass and cold winds around her, she saw a city at the mountain foot.
Lacking better options, she slowly made her way to the city. Taking every precaution she could while approaching the city gate.
When she saw human guards, she felt relieved that these were human civilisations.
Getting through the gates was easy, her beauty and confidence had led her right to the city hall where she immediately realised the city lord was enamoured by her at first sight.
This affords her nice accommodation and food while she managed to get free training at the swordmaster dojo.
But as time went by, the lustful gaze of the lord and the strange gazes from everyone around her made her feel very uncomfortable.
On one of the nights she sneaked out and went over the mountains.
Here, she had even managed to sneak up on a sleeping Orc Scout and killed it.
To cut the long story short, Xue Er was so good at sneaking that she was able to set up traps to kill the orcs but eventually stronger and stronger orcs came.
After a few weeks, the Orcs were no longer exploring solo and started to hunt in groups of 4.
Even those she had successfully dispatched a group after much effort.
Finally, they came out in force and she found herself surrounded by 10 Orcs.
After a few nights of being pursued and using traps to kill some of them, she finally managed to clear and leave the tower.
This had explained why she had not even reached level 10 on the second level.

Hearing her story Kiel was intrigued. A detail that interested him was that each person was presented with different skill orbs.
He wondered if it's the basic stat or the weapon choice that affects the item gained.
Kiel concluded a few things:
Li Bing Xue was a very thoughtful and meticulous individual who liked to plan ahead.
She was not aversive to killing and was able to stay calm and try to get the most out of the situation she landed in.
It can be seen how with just traps she had managed to score kills against even the Gharls and even Orcs.
She was not greedy and was able to read the intent of the tower, taking every opportunity to strengthen herself but also knew when to back off.
This was clear as after killing her quota for Basic Clear, she did not immediately leave like most people.
Instead farmed for experience and did not shy away from discomfort or pain.
Managing to stay calm and remembering the leave tower just from the first prompt when she was in danger was very impressive.
Despite her training, she has no real use for swords as it was only mainly used to deal final blows.
Kiel then offhandedly remarked.
"You did very well, but you are better off using a spear."
Kiel nodded to himself in satisfaction, 'Good seed' he thought.
In her previous life, she was a very powerful Ice Archmage.
Kiel wondered what she would be this time. He decided to hold back hinting at her too much.
He turned to Soeyoon:
"Your turn"
