Once they were gone, Naomi's good girl smile fell into a smirk.
"Boys can be so gullible sometimes." She snickered and turned to their room.
She opened it with the key and went straight to their window.
"Ah, my archnemesis, we meet again." She opened the window and looked at her own window through there. There was a huge tree in front of their dorm so that would help her. It wasn't far and all she needed was to jump. "Okay, I got this."
Naomi cracked her knuckles and made the jump straight for the tree and from the tree, straight to her window, rolling in as she entered.
"Ah, that was dangerous."
If she had her spyware, she wouldn't have opted for that method and simply climbed up her window in a safer way, though she would risk getting caught by the students, it would be better than breaking a few bones.
And after all that effort, she discovered her bag wasn't in the room. This just made her mad.
"Shit, this is just not my day."
Naomi slid the spare key from the boys under their door and found her way to her class.
She didn't wait to be told which class to go to so she just went to class 4 B but since she was seriously pissed at the fact that she lost her bag, she entered the class and sat with her legs crossed and her eyes closed.
"Isn't that the new girl? I heard her name is Naomi."
"I also heard that she's quite approachable but right now, she looks really mad. Did something happen to her?"
'Not here, not there, then where is it?' She felt extremely annoyed. 'My damn phone is in there and the worst part is, it's turned off. Else, I'd have used the 'find my phone' app on my laptop. This is so frustrating.'
Travis approached her.
"Hey, did you find it?" Travis asked, approaching steadily but she didn't respond, too lost in her annoying thoughts. "I'll take that as a no then. But hey, cheer up. If someone else found it, they'd bring it over to you. Just be positive." Naomi's eyes suddenly shot open.
"And how many times has being positive worked out for you?" She asked, her gaze piercing into his soul.
It suddenly made him nervous that he lost his voice for a moment.
Seeing that she scared him, she decided that was enough and gave out a heavy breath.
"I shouldn't be mad at you when you're clearly on my side. Sorry." She apologised.
"It's okay. It wasn't a big deal. I know you're just stressed." He said and she nodded.
"That's good to hear." She said and looked away.
"Maybe after school, we can report this to..." His voice was overshadowed by the students who were hurrying to their seats because of the teacher's approach.
"Settle down already." The teacher walked in. He was a tall, handsome guy with a nice gotti.
His eyes landed on Naomi who was sitting at the back seat and he smiled.
"Hm, it seems I'm the lucky teacher to have you here in my class, Mrs Naomi."
At the mention of her name, Naomi dropped her crossed leg and stood up, bowing her head lightly at him.
She was mad but didn't want to seem rude to the teacher so she let her anger go and acted polite.
"I think I am the one who's lucky to have you, a handsome and dashing guy, to be my homeroom teacher. Please take care of me." She smiled.
"Wow, it seems she's fallen for the teacher already."
"Maybe. What girl would take a glance at the teacher and not fall? But it's too bad if she did because... "
"You've got such a good tongue, Miss Naomi." The teacher smiled. "You can refer to me as Mr King, your homeroom teacher and also your P.E teacher." At the mention of P.E, Naomi's interest went up.
"You're not just my handsome homeroom teacher but also my P.E teacher?" She asked, showing her excitement. "I think we'll have a lot of fun times, Mr King. Please, do take care of me as much as you can." She smirked.
"Yes, sit down." He said and she did so.
Travis leaned over since his seat was just beside her.
"Way to smoothly talk to the teacher, Naomi." He said with a thumbs up.
"It's in my blood." She boasted with her head held high.
"But don't fall for him though. Mr King doesn't swing that way." Travis gave a heads up and Naomi blinked, surprised.
"Oh." Though she looked surprised, she wasn't biassed in sexuality preferences. "That's okay. He may be handsome but he's too old for me anyway." She said and he nodded. "I like younger guys." She said, grinning at him and Travis blushed for some reason.
