They got to Virginia late at night, Raymond tapped the girl who had been sleeping for hours beside him.
She rose up and rubbed her sleepy eyes.
"We are here?"
"Apparently." He stepped down from the car first and she stepped down too.
She looked up and was welcomed by a magnificent dark grey house, almost a black colour. Izabelle blinked her eyes, wondering if that was the place they were really going to be for the honeymoon.
The windows gleamed in the dark, but they reflected nothing of what lay inside. Just a cold and distant house, much like its owner.
But despite its coldness, the house was majestic in its own way, an embodiment of the power and wealth its owner held.
"Won't you come in." Raymond asked his wife who seem like she was glued to the spot where she was.
