"You told me that day that you don't love." She paused.
"W-why?" She asked.
Tension hung in the air as she asked the question, Raymond turned around and met her big eyeballs, looking at him with curiosity. Of all things, that is what she could ask for? Why is she so inquisitive? He asked in his mind.
He looked at her intently, but her gaze remained unwavering. She waited patiently for his answer, but minutes passed, and he didn't say anything. He closed his eyes and remained silent.
"Won't you tell me? Are you going back on your words now? Raymond," She called his name and dragged his hand.
"Because it is useless!" He answered sharply without beating around the bush.
"Why don't you try it? It's not like you have tried it before?"
"We only agreed to ask a question at a time. I want to rest now." He said, not wanting to answer any of her questions anymore.
"Ok." She agreed without protesting.
