All of them with a similar idea as mine.
Meeting the sponsor.
But I believe they are delusional, and no, I don't mean meeting the sponsor.
But rather the fact that they want to get into the academy through the sponsor.
The academy is a prestigious place, mostly attended by nobles, but also commoners who show extreme talent are able to attend.
Basically, only those with connections or talent can get into the academy, but the thing is, the connection thing only applies to nobles; ordinary people like us can never attend it by using connections.
Only those who show aptitude in magic or swordsmanship will get the opportunity.
That's why I believe that they are delusional. Not only will they get disappointed, they may even leave a bad impression on the sponsor.
The sponsor is an important person from the academy; they are basically scouts sent by the academy to collect talents all around the kingdom. If we leave a bad impression on him, our village might suffer. Besides that, isn't getting a job opportunity through the sponsor much more realistic? Even if it's a boring job, a job introduced by the sponsor is guaranteed to be good (at least for our background).
