Chapter 16 - Chapter16-Testing the Beast Taming System, Arrival in the Divine Realm

"Good job, Elizabeth, Vina, Sara," Alan said, nodding at the young men and women gathered in the square before him. "However, only a few of them are what I need. Send the rest back."

With that, Alan pointed at several individuals in the square. "These few, stay!"

His gaze shifted over the faces of several young men and women.

These were the protagonists Alan had been seeking.

Soon, Alan's eyes fell on one person, Hunter.

"Oh?"

"A Beast Taming affinity cheat, capable of acquiring special abilities from spellbeasts?" Alan paused for a moment, then remarked, "Not bad, quite impressive."

Alan was impressed because he saw the powerful potential of this cheat.

Unlike Hunter, who had lower strength and could only connect with weaker spellbeasts, Alan was much more powerful and could access epic and legendary spellbeasts, even knowing their locations.

Acquiring this cheat meant he could do much more.

Additionally, he was curious whether this cheat could affect god-tier spellbeasts.

After all, the upper limit of Modi's previous cheat, the Wordless Wonder Scroll, was god-tier.

But this time, it was unclear.

To test this, he began to slowly unseal his own divine power.

Under the terrifying augmentation of his supreme divine power, he gradually began to comprehend and take control of Hunter's "system" and body.

Hunter's "cheat" was unlike those of the other protagonists.

His "cheat" was not attached to any physical object; rather, it had become a part of his very constitution.

Therefore, stripping it away was no easy task.

But for Alan, embodied with supreme divine power, this was not a significant challenge.

What ordinary deities couldn't achieve didn't necessarily apply to him.

Soon, under the augmentation of his supreme divine power, especially the "wisdom" divine power, all secrets within Hunter were revealed, manifesting as strands of information.

In a short time, Alan successfully stripped the Beast Taming affinity "cheat" ability from Hunter.

He then bound it to himself.

With a wave of his hand, Alan obliterated all the protagonists before him.

After completing this task, Alan once again suppressed his power, reverting to the lord-tier.

As before, a system panel prompt appeared before Alan.

[Ding! Successfully confiscated level 1 protagonist Hunter's Beast Taming affinity trait.]

[Submit to the system to recycle and gain 200 points, or spend 800 points to fully master this item. Additionally, spend 40 points to inquire about the specific usage of this item!]

Alan paused for a moment at the system prompt before him, then disregarded it.

For the constitution originally belonging to Hunter was now fully bound to Alan, and Alan quickly mastered the abilities of this constitutional cheat.

Thus, naturally, there was no need to spend points to obtain permission from the system.

Subsequently, Alan began to experiment with activating the system.

He then looked around at the people present.

In the hall before him, Vina, Elizabeth, and Sara stood at the forefront.

Alan looked at them but found no prompts.

However, he quickly moved out of the hall.

In Beaconburg, most paladins could use light power to conjure constructs and vehicles for transportation, but the city still had its share of living animals.

This was due to some paladin family members who, not being paladins themselves but married to one, had settled here.

Many of these people used horse-drawn carriages for travel.

Alan stepped onto the street and soon saw a carriage pulled by a white horse.

In Alan's vision, the horse displayed the following information:

[Species: Ferghana Horse]

[Quality: Common]

[Combat Power: 1-grade]

[Controllability: 100%]

Indeed.

Even with a non-human creature like a horse, Alan could still utilize the newly acquired Beast Taming affinity system.

It seemed that, due to the special constitution, if the subject was a common 1-grade creature like this horse, it could be directly controlled.

Soon, Alan found the carriage of a foreign minister from Tandinland in the 12 kingdoms.

This minister's carriage was drawn by a hybrid "wing-horse"!

Although not as rare as unicorns or subdragons, and being a man-made hybrid breed specifically for the aristocracy's luxury transportation, its strength was indeed higher than that of a regular horse.

Alan quickly examined the wing-horse.

[Species: Wing-Horse]

[Quality: Spellbeast]

[Combat Power: 2-grade]

[Controllability: 100%]

This wing-horse, a hybrid of a Ferghana Horse and a gryphon, possessed a pair of massive wings and considerably greater combat power.

However, Alan was still able to successfully tame it.

Once tamed, it would fully recognize Alan as its master, abandoning its previous owner.

Alan quickly realized that this ability might be related to one's personal strength.

Hunter, being weaker, couldn't tame more powerful general-tier or lord-tier spellbeasts and subdragons.

But Alan's greater strength allowed him to easily tame ordinary spellbeasts.

Soon, another idea occurred to Alan.

If the spellbeasts in the nearby city were too weak to test the upper limits of his Beast Taming System ability, then he should seek out places with higher-tier spellbeasts and creatures.

Perhaps places like... the Divine Realm, the Abyss of the Demon World, or some special forbidden areas of the continent?

Alan's first thought was the Divine Realm.

In the Divine Realm, apart from deities, there also existed divine beasts.

These divine beasts were of god-tier level.

The classification above god-tier was different from that below it. Below god-tier, each level ranged from 1-star to 5-star.

Above god-tier, including god-tier itself, the levels were divided from 1-star to 9-star, and beyond that was the Almighty God!

Most divine beasts were of the 1-star god-tier.

Alan pondered for a moment, then infused his body with additional divine power and, with a mere thought, reappeared as a deity in the Divine Realm.

Ordinarily, beings from the lower realms, wishing to travel from the Human World to the Divine Realm, needed to pass through the "Trail of God."

The "Trail of God" came in many forms, each with different difficulties, set by various deities.

For example, the trial set by the Almighty God required participants to climb from the bottom of the Abyss, up the Divine Pillar, all the way to the Divine Realm to be successful.

Once reaching the Divine Realm, these lower realm beings would acquire Divinity!

Of course, such trials were so arduous that over thousands of years, only a handful had succeeded. Those who did were invariably top geniuses and supreme powerhouses.

Travelling from the Human World to the Divine Realm without the "Trail of God" was much more challenging.

However, for Alan, the Almighty God, returning to the Divine Realm from the Human World was but a thought away.

In the blink of an eye.

Above the Divine Realm, the figure of the Almighty God Alan reemerged.

At that moment...

In the Divine Realm, beyond the Immortal Gates, numerous deities were sitting on the Peak of Thunder, meditating and chanting.

Suddenly, upon Alan's arrival, all the deities present revealed looks of shock, falling silent and standing up to pay their respects.

"The Almighty God, Your Highness!"

"The Almighty God, Your Highness!"

...

Upon hearing the greetings, Alan smiled and continued forward.

The Peak of Thunder was the domain of the old Thunder God in the Divine Realm, who had retired after failing in a struggle for power with Alan, leaving it a land without a master.

This place was favored by deities like the Goddess of the Moon, the God of Music, the God of Art, and their subordinate deities, who often visited for leisure.

Additionally, it was a habitat for some lower-tier divine beasts.

Soon, on a distant mountain peak, Alan spotted a divine beast enveloped in lightning.

[Avalokiteshvara]

[Species: Holy Elephant]

[Quality: Divine Beast]

[Combat Power: 2-star Divine Beast]

[Controllability: 100%]

At that moment, looking at the white Holy Elephant before him, a smile appeared in Alan's eyes.

Upon realizing it was under the gaze of the Almighty God, Avalokiteshvara, who was bathing in the waterfall of thunder, opened its eyes wide in shock and turned to flee!
