"Aurelius," her sonorous voice sounded. He was jolted out of his reverie.
"Yes, my love," he replied.
He picked up the brush and brushed her hair, running his fingers through it in the process. He was trying hard to distract himself from the tempting view in front of him.
"The thing I loved best about the girl in the picture was her hair," Charlotte looked at him through the mirror while he was looking down at her hair as he gently brushed through.
"It felt cool and bright. Where I lived as a child, it was very cold and icy; there was barely summer, unlike here. It was far north from the Aurora watch. I was in the deserted lands beyond Fristia. It felt warm and fuzzy within my heart whenever I dreamt of her, and I saw her strawberry blonde hair."
