CHAPTER 32
Ella had put a spell on the scroll that when it was opened, the couple would fall into a mild trance. Two minutes passed, and the couple stood still for a while, their head bent over like they were engrossed in what their daughter wrote.
In the trance, Ella explained the important things to them, and in less than two minutes, the trance faded away. She already told them to keep their previous expression because the life of their daughter and her friend, Charlotte, depends on them now. Thankfully, they were discerning people, and even though they just found out that witches truly existed, they hid their amazement and fascination well.
