This is how it feels to put on my skin
I layer my stocking, color by pattern
I roll on my socks, stripe by thread
Next my leg warmers,my shoes at the end
I put on my patterned shirt then my outer shirt
My jacket is my shirts outer shell
I decorate my joints and blazen my chest
So that my boyish femininity can look its best
I feel my nimble comforted bones
Relax into themselves as they welcome home
Who I am and what I'm to be
Is nothing more than boyish, pretty me
