[Everyone I have an announcement, I want all tier 3 members of the family to meet in the courtyard. Those of you who have recently evolved, stay here and practice your abilities. And the werewolves, you guys will be taught a new trait by Alice, behave and listen to her. Because if you don't, I won't allow you to leave the town....for atleast a few weeks.] Colin said and he could hear mournful howling in the distance. The tier 3s, including Henry, Beatrix and Esme, came flooding into the courtyard.
'How exactly am I going to work this out? Those three can't go outside the domain because of the sun. Maybe I could use my [Darkness Affinity] to give them cover.' Colin thought, looking at the three vampires who were walking towards him.
"My lord." They greeted and Colin nodded his head, not disapproving of how they referred to him.
"Where's your younger daughter, Calliope was it?" Colin asked
"She's inside my lord, do you wish for us to get her?" Esme asked
"No, she can stay here. It would be safer that way." Colin said
"Thank you, my lord." Esme said with a smile
'28, I count twenty eight tier 3s. A majority of them are between level 10-14, so it shouldn't be too hard to get them all to tier 4 within the day.' Colin thought
"Alright everyone, let's move out." Colin said before flying into the sky. The others followed after him, whether on foot or flying through the sky alongside him. He made sure to adjust his speed so that they could follow and he had to think for a second before deciding where they should go for the hunt. He thought their best bet would be near the river, beasts came there to drink water, so there should be plenty of beasts with lairs nearby. Colin looked down, and could see the three vampires running beneath, they stuck to the shadows keeping away from the sun, as best they could, and that made Colin wonder something.
[Hey, I'm curious about something. How do you guys deal with the sun in the underworld?] Colin asked them
[We don't have this problem back home. It's only in this stupid realm that we have to hide from the fucking sun.] Beatrix said disgruntled
[Beatrix, don't be rude.] Esme admonished her
'So they don't have this problem in the underworld huh.' Colin thought, the reason he asked is because he was hoping if they had something like a daylight ring that allows them to walk in the sun. But if they didn't have this problem in the underworld, then they wouldn't need to create something like that.
'Guess I'll have to find a way to make one.' Colin thought, within the next two hours, they arrived at the river. Using [Aura Vision], Colin could sense the auras of hundreds of beasts within a two mile radius. A few of them were tier 4, but Colin wasn't worried.
"Ok, let's do this." Colin said and held up his hand in the air, his eyes became dark as a thick dark mist like energy rolled out of his hand, the darkness spread from his hand and started covering the night sky. The darkness continued to spread and spread even more, spreading until it became a dome, going two miles in each direction. The members of his family that were present were shocked as they watched the dome spread all around them, and the beasts started howling, roaring and growling in fear, while others secluded themselves in their lairs.
'Domain: Tomb of Dark Embrace.' Colin thought while looking at his work. This was one of the abilities that he gained from evolving into a Demon Viscount. He didn't know everything about the ability, but he knew that it was called a domain, and he had two, one for each affinity. A domain allowed him to expand the influence of affinity over an area, boosting the power of his affinity, and allow him to trap his enemies inside, giving him the field advantage. [Domain: Tomb of Dark Embrace] allowed him to create a dome of darkness, unlike usual darkness that demons could see through, no one could see inside without light or they also had [Darkness Affinity]. This gave him the field advantage in any battle, as his enemy was visually impaired and he could manipulate the darkness inside domain.
"Alright everyone don't panic." Colin said as he could notice everyone's uneasiness, especially the three vampires. They have been demons their entire lives, creatures that can see in the dark, Colin doubted that they have ever been unable to see like this. Orbs of hellfire appeared in the air and floated towards each member of the family.
"We will proceed with the hunting as I promised. These orbs will guide you to your targets, don't be afraid. You have forty five minutes to evolve, so I would suggest that you hurry." Colin said and the orbs started moving away from each person. Colin had never really exerted this much control over his affinity before, controlling twenty eight seperate fireballs. He could always give them the command to just float towards any beast he picked, but he had to manually control their speed and their path so that they don't burn down fly through any trees. Also, the reason he gave the duration of forty five minutes was because he could sense his DP running out fast. He could try using the demonic energy in the air, but their wasn't enough to make a difference.
