"You dare." Sam said with bloodshot eyes as his body shook and his weapon was slipping from his hand and onto the bus floor, but he fought with all his might to keep it in his hand.
'Impressive.' I thought and looked around at everyone else, everyone except the saints who were in a similar condition as Sam, dropped their weapons to the ground and looked forward with a blank stare.
"Drop your weapons." I repeated one more time, putting even more power into the skill.
"Ugh-" The saints groaned before dropping their weapons and their eyes became unfocused.
"Let's go." I said to Sera and she nodded her head. The two of us then flew back towards Ush'nar to have a chat, if any of the crocodile demons tried to get past me and to the bus, I'd be able to sense them, even if they used a stealth ability.
"This is Sera, an Angel and the leader of the group." I introduced
"Ush'nar of the house of Sloth, I wish I could say it is a pleasure, but if I did that would be a lie." He said and I could see his eyes glowed a bit and I could tell that Sera was trembling slightly.
"I can't say it's a pleasure either, but I do need to pass through this city, so what do you want?" She said evenly and I was impressed that she can talk like that while obviously being afraid.
"I want to make a deal. You see, there was another Angel in this city when I came here and when sought shelter for my people, he attacked me, luckily for you, none of my people were killed or seriously injured or else we wouldn't be having this conversation." Ush'nar said and I found what he said more than a little bit shady.
"Damnit Castiel." I heard her quietly under her breath and I immediately had questions but I couldn't ask them since Ush'nar would hear. So I did the next best thing, I touched her hand and formed a telepathic link between the two of us, she looked at me through the corner of her eyes.
[Why did you mumble 'damnit Castiel' under your breath?] I asked
[Castiel is the name of the Angel that was posted here. He has a strong hatred for demons, you know the story of how the fallen ones became the first demons, Castiel has a strong sense of pride in his Angelic heritage and he sees demons as lesser and fallen ones as a stain on that heritage.] Sera explained and that left me thinking, she didn't think for a second that Ush'nar's story was bullshit and immediately thought that her friend was in the wrong. This Castiel guy must have some serious issues.
"So what's the deal? You want one of our saints or me to stay hear as tribute to let the rest pass." Sera snorted
"Oh nothing so barbaric, I just want you to promise that neither you or any of your allies will attack a member of the house of Sloth, including your demon friend Colin and his house. In return, we will do the same." Ush'nar said leaving me stunned, I could probably promise something like that since I was the head of my family but Sera couldn't.
"I can't promise that for everyone, I can only try." She said with a defeated sigh
"I know, which is why I am not forcing you to sign a contract. I will trust in your word and character, but I will warn you, if you do attack a member of the house of Sloth, we will consider it an act of war and hunt all of you down until you're all dead." Ush'nar said menacingly and I could feel his aura spike a bit.
"You have my thanks, I will inform my allies about this deal and hopefully they will heed your warning." Sera said with a bow
"See that you do, I will also tell my family members in City G to allow you safe passage." Ush'nar said
'So they are the Demon family in city G?' I thought, Sera bowed again and flew back towards the bus to inform the others,but they were still under the effect of my [Advanced Compulsion] skill. With that thought, I flew back towards the bus but stopped as I remembered something.
"Um, random question, where can I get a regalia?" I asked and Ush'nar gave me a long look before bursting into laughter.
"Hahaha, seriously kid, that's not a question for this type of situation, but I'll answer nonetheless, you can either make your own but I doubt you have the skills or the resources needed. So you'll need to purchase one, the only house that specializes in trading and the like is the house of Greed, so they might have a few. But be warned, they will definitely try to RIP you off and charge more than the ring is worth." Ush'nar explained helpfully
"Thank you." I said with a bow and flew back towards the bus
