I made multiple trips into the city and back that night until it was morning. I got food from grocery stores, blood bags from the hospital and some clothes for both me and Alice. Hopefully she wasn't picky when it comes to clothes. Thankfully the house had more than one fridges because even though I was a Demon it would still be weird to see human blood in the fridge when I went to get some food. I was tired but not dead tired and it's a good thing too since I still had more things to do.
"Why are you going out this time?" Alice asked. She was wearing a short red skirt and a blue shirt with red knee length socks and blue sneakers.
"I need to make you a cursed weapon for you so that we can train tonight." I said while opening the door.
"I'll come with you." She said and walked out the door after me but as soon as she stepped outside she almost fell to the ground but I caught her in time.
"What's wrong?" I asked while taking her inside the house.
"I think it's the sun. As soon as I walked outside I got a notification saying that I am in direct sunlight and my strength has decreased by 50%." Alice said
"I guess you can't follow me then." I said
"What am I supposed to do all day?" She whined
"Try and find some CD's to watch or you can try using your [Shadow Affinity], who knows it might be fun." I said as I exited the house. I took to the sky and headed towards the blacksmith shop. The reason I took so long to get everything we needed wasn't just because of the distance, I had infact flew around the city in search of undeads. And as I suspected it seems the ghoul to have used all the undeads in the city for it's attack on the mansion. That means that I and Alice will have to leave the city to get stronger but that will have to wait for after I train her a bit. I reached the blacksmith shop in 30 minutes and I quickly checked whether the ingots were still there and thankfully they were. I immediately started and after around two hours all the blacksmith tools including the furnace was melted to molten liquid but it was worth it.
In my hand was a red cursed sword similar to the one I made the first time. Equipped with my new blade I flew back to the house and reached there in no time. I entered the house and immediately knew something was wrong but I couldn't put my finger on it. I walked into a room where I heard a noise and when I entered I saw the television playing a children's cartoon which caused me to raise an eyebrow.
*Whoosh*
Suddenly I heard something rippling through the wind and I quickly dodged out of the way. Turning around, I saw a black whip like object disappearing. I looked around but I didn't see anything, then I activated [Aura Vision] but shockingly I still didn't see anything.
'What's going on here? Did a Demon enter the house? If so why can't I sense it and where the fuck is Alice? Don't tell me that demon hurt her?' I felt an overwhelming sense of rage and an unnatural amount of bloodlust leaked from my body. Then I heard something else moving through the air towards me and this time I didn't dodge and instead grabbed the black object.
"Burn." I growled and flames ignited on the black whip like object and then I saw the fire burn all the way to a corner in the room.
"Owwww." Shouted a feminine voice and I stopped the flames immediately. Out of the corner came Alice and her clothes were giving off some smoke.
"Alice, what the hell are you doing? I thought someone or something got into the house." I asked
"I'm sorry I thought I would just mess with you for a bit, I didn't think you would almost kill me especially with the two of us being tier 3 now." She said and then sat on the couch.
"(Sigh), anyway I managed to make your cursed weapon." I said while taking out the sword that I wrapped in cloth. I couldn't make blade sheaths so I opted to wrapping the swords in cloths for transport.
"Let me see, let me see." Alice said and excitedly jumped off the couch and grabbed the cloth wrapped sword out of my hand. She quickly ripped the cloth off the sword and soon the red cursed sword was exposed in all it's glory. She swung the sword around a few times almost hitting me and I suspected she did that on purpose.
"Thanks Colin I love it." She said joyfully and then gave me a hug but quickly backed away with her cheeks a bit red.
"Ok I'm going upstairs to take a bath and get some rest." I said and started walking up the stairs while hearing swooshing sounds.
