'This might be a problem.' I thought after reading the description of Alice's race. It was obvious that I had to get her a blood supply and with the electricity gone in the city the blood bags will spoil sooner or later but they should do for a while.
"Hey Alice, can you drink the blood of undeads?" I asked and her face immediately contorted into one of disgust.
"No." She answered simply. Well that's one potential solution gone and then I thought of something else.
"Can you drink the blood of a demon?" I asked
"Demon?" She looked at me puzzled an and then I remembered she didn't know anything about demons or angels.
"Oh right, just like you I used to be a human and then I got turned into a Fiend, then I turned into a Halfling and now I'm a demon." I said
"Wait so that means you evolved twice right?" She asked and I nodded.
"Is that why you can make fire appear in your hand, because you're a demon?" She asked
"Yes, when I became a Demon I got a skill called [Hell Fire Affinity] and that's how I can do this." I said and then created a fireball in my hand.
"Will i be able to do that if I evolve again?" She asked enthusiastically.
"Maybe, I'm not really sure." I said but my answer didn't dampen her mood in the slightest.
"We need to get you a constant supply of blood but the blood bags should do for now. So grab a few and let's get out of here." I said. Alice quickly got her bag and stuffed it full of blood bag. After she did that, I jumped out the window and with some encouragement Alice jumped out as well. I transformed into my Demon form and princess carried Alice in my arm against her as she protested non stop. I flapped my wings and flew into the skies and Alice stopped her protesting and clung to me tighter instead. I activated [Aura Vision] and flew around the city searching for undeads but we only found destroyed buildings, abondoned vehicles and corpses....unmoving ones. Not finding anything I decided to fly back to the mansion to talk to Synthia about Alice and hopefully she doesn't get angry.

Synthia POV
"Where the fuck is Colin?" Synthia wondered as she fired a ball of pale gold flames towards the horde of hungry undeads from inside the [Holy Territory]. Infront of the mansion was a horde of over a hundred undead that were acting strangely coordinated with each other. She didn't know why they were acting this way all of a sudden but she didn't have the luxury to care at the moment.
[You have slain a level 8 undead. Your body cannot absorb demonic energy.]
[Your [Heavenly Fire] has purified an undead.]
[The [Holy Territory] has rewarded you with 480 exp for slaying level 8 undead. ]
[Your [Heavenly Fire] grows stronger]
Several of these notifications rang out in my mind as I shot fireballs at the incoming horde. This was how angels grew, atleast on Earth, our bodies couldn't absorb demonic energy so we need a [Holy Territory] to convert the demonic energy to holy energy and then give it to us. We could also use a cultivation method like the [Flames of purification] but that takes too long and I currently don't have the luxury of time.
*Boom*
Suddenly a five large, black lines crashed flew towards us but the [Holy Territory] blocked the attack. I didn't know what attacked the barrier but it was most certainly atleast a tier 3 and obviously a Demon sub species. But since the humans couldn't fight undeads yet I had to stay here and attack from a distance. Even though the barrier prevents Demon species from entering by inflicting them with severe pain and eventually killing them I don't think the barrier is strong enough to withstand a horde of tier 2s.
*Booom*
*Crack*
'Fuck.' Another attack crashed into the barrier and there was a small crack and a few undeads managed to slip through but I quickly cut them down with my sword. An undead broke through another part of the barrier and ran towards the humans. Seeing it I threw my sword at it and the sword pierced it's chest and then golden flame erupted from it's chest reducing it to ash instantly.
*Scream*
Some of the humans continued to scream even after I killed the undead and I could only sigh, how did Colin put up with these guys? As a matter of fact, where is that little demon?
*Boom*
The crack on the barrier widened as another attack impacted it.
"Everyone get inside the mansion." I shouted and they didn't waste any time and dashed into the mansion. There was a secondary barrier surrounding the mansion so if the first one breaks the second one should hold for a while. Now I had a choice to make should I go outside and try to hold them off as long as possible or should I stay here and continue attacking from a distance? I decided on the latter since I'll die if I go out there right now without back up and if I die then the humans were screwed. My eyes glowed yellow as I activated [Aura Vision] and searched for the bastard that has been attacking the barrier and sure enough I saw a large red aura a distance away.
