[Synthia POV]
As Colin slept peacefully through the night something was happening inside the mansion. The inside of the mansion was probably one of the cleanest places in the world at the moment. The carpet was free of dust and body parts, the walls were decorated with expensive painting and lacked bloodstains and there were humans walking about instead of running and screaming in terror.
In a private room in the mansion, golden lines snaked across the floors and walls connecting to a floating orb on a pedestal. This floating orb was glowing a soft golden colour and bathing in it's holy light was Synthia and seven translucent figures. One thing to note about these figures was that these figures had white, feathery wing on their backs which means that they were also Angels just like Synthia.
"Greeting Synthia. Do you have anything to report?" Asked one of the translucent figures. This one was a middle, aged man with silver hair on his head.
"Yes sir. I found a demon while I was out on patrol today." Synthia replied
"A demon, you are saying that a Demon managed to escape hell already but the crack is too small for that." Said another one of the translucent figures. This one looked like she was in her early 20s just like Synthia. She had silver hair and blue eyes.
"No this one didn't come from hell. He is a human that managed to keep his sanity during demonization." Synthia replied and the silver haired girl immediately calmed down.
"Is he a problem?" The man asked
"No. He might be a bit cautious but it's not like he doesn't have a reason to. He actually agreed to help me with the camp and he even brought a group of humans here from City A." Synthia said. She had asked Claire and the others about their journey here and they were more than happy to tell her everything.
"That is impressive." The man said while stroking his beard.
"I think you should kill him." Said another one of the transparent figures. This one was looked like a teenager around sixteen years old. He had blue hair and green eyes.
"And why should I do that?" Synthia asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Even if he's not a threat now, he will be in the future once he chooses a family to join so we should eliminate him now while he's weak." The boy said.
"Well yeah, I don't think I can do that." Synthia said while rubbing her forehead.
"And why not?" The boy asked with a raised eyebrow. Synthia didn't say anything and just took out the same monocle she used on Colin earlier. She held up the monocle in the air and a hologram appeared mid air showing Colin's status to everyone.
"As you can see he has a number of traits and even has [Hell Fire Affinity] which makes him quite the difficult opponent." Synthia said
"(Sigh) I see." The boy said
"The [Hell Fire Affinity] isn't much of a problem since you have it's counterpart [Heavenly Fire Affinity] and you have more experience than this demon so you should be able to beat this Demon in a fight. So can you tell me what the real problem is?" The man asked
"Well, I'm not sure I can protect the camp by myself and teach the humans how to cultivate and create holy weapons at the same time. Which means that the [Holy Territory] grow fast enough before the cracks start to widen. I'm assuming you guys are facing a similar problem?" The others simply nodded their heads.
"Don't worry, the [Holy Territory] should grow strong enough so that I can evolve before he does and then I'll decide what to do then." Synthia said
"Good luck." The boy said and his hologram disappeared and soon after the others disappeared as well one by one.
"Watch your back Synthia." The man said, he was the last to disappear.
"Hopefully Colin doesn't turn against me." Synthia sighed and walked out of the room.
