"What's going on here?" Asked a calm female voice. Claire stopped when she heard Synthia's voice but I didn't react since I already know she was coming since I had activated [Aura Vision] to take a look if anything was different with Claire's aura and I was right. Her aura before was completely blue in colour but now it had golden splotches although they weren't as radiant as Synthia's aura.
"Lady Synthia, I uhm...." Claire fumbled over her words.
'Lady Synthia.' It has only been a day and Synthia had already instilled some respect into her, impressive.
"She found out I was a Demon and attacked me." I said when Claire wouldn't stop fumbling over her words.
"Is that so." Synthia said with a smile and looked at Claire who hung her head low for some reason.
"Don't worry about it, Claire. Colin here isn't dangerous in the slightest." She said laughing while patting me on the back which pissed me off a bit.
"B-but you told us that demons were the ones that caused everyone to start becoming undeads." Claire said as she balled her fists and her body shook. Her statement caused me to raise an eyebrow and I looked at Synthia.
"Yes that is true but Colin's case is different." Synthia said.
"How is his case different? What is he a Demon who became good and decided to help out humanity." Claire said with sarcasm evident in her voice.
"No, he was a human who turned into demon due to being demonized by the dark miasma." Synthia said
"What? How is that even possible?" Claire asked seemingly in disbelief.
"I'll tell you how? The dark miasma entered my body and I felt excruciating pain but instead of giving up I kept on fighting to keep my sanity." I said before Synthia could say anything. Claire's attitude was kind of pissing me off, I saved her life and as soon as she found out I was a Demon she tried to kill me. What a bitch.
"Any way I cleared all the undeads in the shop and found ingots inside a storage room." I said to Synthia pointing towards the box of ingots.
"Good job we should be able to use these." Synthia said taking up one of the ingots.
"What are those for?" Claire asked
"None of your business." I said and Synthia sighed.
"Anyway, when are you going to show me how to make cursed weapons?" I asked and Claire had wisely kept her mouth shut, although I expected her to ask what cursed blades were.
"Not sure yet, I'll do it once I have time." Synthia said with a shrug of her shoulder.
"By the way what did you do to her." I said pointing at Claire and she just glared at me.
"What do you mean?" Synthia said coyly
"I'm not blind I can see the golden splotches in her aura." I said staring into her eyes.
"Ok, ok, you don't have to stare at me like that. I simply started started her cultivation."
"Start, is she still tier 1 then." I asked
"Of course, I might be an angel but I can't advance someone by a tier in one day."
"She seems stronger than I was when I was a fiend."
"Well yeah, unlike you she has my blessing." Synthia said with her hands on her hips and her eyes seemed to be glowing.
"Uh, huh." Was my only response then I activated [Demon Transformation] and Claire seemed to flinch.
"I still have some more boxes to move so I'm off." I said and flew off back to the blacksmith shop.
"Come on Claire." Synthia said and obediently followed behind her.
I managed to carry two more boxes back to the mansion and I hid the last one in another room of the shop. I was currently sitting on a building in my human form looking at the mansion. I didn't really trust Synthia and I knew there were other Angel's on Earth but they were no where near here so I was safe.....atleast for now. I needed some way to protect my self just incase I need to fight them in the future and if the [Holy Territory] is anything to go by then demons were weak to holy energy. Sooo, I need a way to defend myself against it and I have an idea how.....even if it's gonna be painful as fuck.
