Chapter 16 - Bloodborne Rulers

In a huge, wide space between the stars, on a strange and spooky alien planet filled with tall human-like creatures who had long pointy noses, ears, eyes, and fangs, called the Bloodbornes, a meeting was happening.

The meeting hall had a weird glow, and there was a feeling of excitement as all the Bloodbornes gathered.

Amongst the murmurs of their unsettling presence, a voice suddenly broke through the room, speaking urgently, "Lord Sire... Lord Sire... Lord Sire..."

Everyone looked towards the source of the noise, and there stood an old-looking person, wearing a fancy uniform from the future.

His eyes glowed red, showing that he had some special power.

"What is it?"

The elder Bloodborne asked, his voice sounding like he was in charge.

The person who had been shouting was red-faced and breathing heavily. He struggled to catch his breath before speaking.

"Lord Sire, something really important has happened in the world of chickens, specifically on a water planet called Earth in sector 67. A bunch of newly awakened awakened humans have appeared, and now we can't use our portals to go there, not even the strong awakened Bloodbornes.

"We've used up a lot of fuel trying to get through, but it didn't work. However, the young Bloodbornes seem to have the ability to get past the barriers and go to Earth."

The news hung in the air, and all the Bloodbornes reacted in different ways. Some looked like they couldn't believe it, their faces showing confusion.

Others stared intently, their eyes narrowing with curiosity and worry.

A few exchanged worried glances, clearly feeling uneasy.

In the midst of all the surprise, the old Bloodborne, his voice slightly trembling, asked a very important question, "What about the other planet sectors?"

The person who had been shouting, still shaking, answered with a sense of fear,

"Lord Sire, lots of intelligent creatures are waking up in different sectors like usual, but humans are waking up faster than anything else. In just twenty-four hours, thousands of them have woken up and grasp the enlightened force…"

A shocked silence filled the room as everyone realized how serious the situation was.

The old Bloodborne, who was usually calm, couldn't believe it and said, "That can't be true! That's too fast!"

The old Bloodborne looked at all the other Bloodbornes in the room.

The room had a strange energy, mixing old magic and advanced technology. His voice was deep and chilling as he addressed the urgent matter, his words echoing in the grand chamber.

"We need to get rid of them if that's what's happening!"

He said urgently.

"But first, we need to find out why it's happening.

"How did it happen that humans are waking up so much faster than other creatures?

"Did something special happen on Earth?"

The Bloodborne race celebrated their power over lesser beings, even though they kept it hidden.

One of those lesssr beings were humanity.

They controlled technology completely, not going beyond any limit. To keep their control over other races, they carefully studied and controlled the awakened ones.

However, right now, something's not right with humanity as they are all awakening faster than usual.

As the old Bloodborne's words echoed through the holy space, there was a sudden interruption that broke the calmness of the room.

A Bloodborne, looking both amazed and scared, held a device that glowed like a star.

"Lord Sire! Lord Sire! Lord Sire!"

He said with panic in his voice, cutting through the quietness of the room.

He continued, shaking, his eyes fixed on the advanced technology in his hands.

"Lord Sire, the number of newly awakened people on Earth has gone from a thousand to two thousand in just one minute now and it's getting faster…"

The news spread quickly through the chapel, causing everyone to react with shock.

The Bloodbornes, who were gathered there, couldn't believe what they were hearing.

They whispered to each other in uncertainty and fear, creating a tense atmosphere.

"What is happening to game preserves creatures?"

"Isn't that too fast for the humans to awaken?"

"What should we do?"

Each Bloodborne had their own thoughts and opinions about the situation.

Some tried to understand the implications of this sudden awakening, while others tried to uncover the hidden forces behind it.

The whispers continued, adding to the uneasiness in the air.

Just as the murmurs became overwhelming, the elder stood up, capturing everyone's attention.

The light from the stained glass windows seemed to shine on him, making him look authoritative.

He raised his voice to silence the whispers.

"Be quiet!"

He shouted, his powerful voice calming the room.

The Bloodbornes obeyed his command and fell silent.

The elder focused his gaze on the Bloodborne who brought the news, showing a mix of concern and determination.

He looked at every again and opened his mouth.

"You all know what this means," he said with a serious tone.

"We were prepared for this. We can't send one of our own, but we can send something to create chaos among humans before we assess the situation."

One important aspect of the Bloodbornes' control over other races was their dominance over the Enlightened ones.

These were special beings who had awakened their inner power, something that the Bloodbornes feared and wanted to control.

Yet, the Bloodbornes saw the appearance of these Enlightened ones as inevitable, a natural progression among intelligent races.

To maintain their power, the Bloodbornes had to keep a close eye on any signs of awakening.

If they noticed a sudden increase in the number of Enlightened ones, they would send one of their powerful warriors to manipulate or eliminate the threat if necessary.

But the Bloodbornes aren't dumb.

They were smart and crafty.

They realized that their old way of dealing with the awakened humans wouldn't work anymore if something invisible like this is happening, it could be an unnatural treasure or something and they must have it!

Things had changed, and they needed to change their tactics too. But they always had a simple plan for this.

They decided to create chaos and confusion all over the world.

Their goal was to disrupt society and create a lot of problems.

They wanted to make people fight against each other and turn against their own governments.

They pulled the strings behind the scenes, causing conflicts and unrest everywhere.

Their evil influence spread like a disease, making people doubt each other and lose trust.

Once peaceful cities turned into chaotic messes.

People became scared and didn't know who to trust.

Governments fell apart because of internal fighting, and the Bloodbornes controlled everything from behind the scenes.

Society started to crumble, and it felt like there was no hope.

People were driven by fear, and they turned against each other in a desperate attempt to survive.

The Bloodbornes loved seeing the world in chaos.

They knew that in a broken world, they could easily take control.

They took advantage of the confusion and desperation to tighten their grip on the enslaved races.

They ruled with an iron fist, making sure nobody could oppose them.

Soon, the older Bloodborne, a powerful being, raised his hands adorned with sharp claws dripping with blood. He gestured to the air, commanding, "Gather all the PANDORA members and unleash the creatures trapped in their containment. Let them ravage the planet Earth until it lies in ruins!"

PANDORA, which stands for Paranormal Anomaly Defense and Research Association, is an organization dedicated to protecting humanity from supernatural threats and studying unusual phenomena.

But here's the truth: Planet Earth is actually a training ground for young Bloodborne warriors who thrive on combat.

The Bloodborne race owns PANDORA, and its personnel are their loyal followers. The creatures kept in containment are meant to be released for the younger generation of Bloodborne to hunt, allowing them to develop into a warrior class.

Typically, they would release weaker monsters for the young warriors to face, similar to how the FOUNDATION operates. They start with easier challenges and gradually increase the difficulty.

However, the elder's command was met with an unexpected obstacle. One of his subordinates spoke up, "My Lord, we have a problem. The entrances to levels two to five are locked and won't open. We can't enter, and by the frequency of it, they would only accept younger generation which would complicate things because the human enlightened ones only listens to their higher level being Bloodbornes."

Humans and these strange creatures are game preserves for them to hunt for fun, but now, it's for discovery of that treasures that was destroying the natural awakening balance of all races.

However, it seems that it won't be that easy to solve.
