Aerine was still a bit nervous when they exited the building, but it seemed Mai was more reliable than she looked. The same was true of Mio, who only appeared to love eating, but when it came to missions, they were particularly serious about it.
Their mission was to protect Aerine, and even if they didn't, Aerine's identity was enough to make them willing to protect her.
The reporters wanted to approach Aerine again, but for some reason, with the twins shielding her, they couldn't do so. Mai and Mio had a tacit understanding of everything, as though they could communicate using their eyes.
Aerine also didn't dally and hurriedly entered the car; she could even hear the reporters complaining when the two had already gotten on the car, but it was also a late reaction.
Perhaps Mai also subtly influences them.
As they drove away from the company building, Aerine began to ask once more.
"Where are we going?"
