Narration: Sylvia woke up and looked around. Kira was sleeping next to her. She sat up and wiped her face with her hand then she walked into the bathroom.
Kira: Sylvia, is that you?
Sylvia: Sorry didn't mean to wake you.
Kira: Yeah, I should have been up already. Where are you headed?
Sylvia: Well, I will be leaving for work early. Need to go pack my table before my department is crowded.
Narration: Sylvia dresses up into a red straight skirt and applies her make up making her look so ravishing. She grabs her keys and a purse and walk out of the room.
Narration: A cab came to stop in front of her and she gets in shutting the door behind her. She then hands him ten dollars.
Sylvia: Marc's industries.
Narration: The driver silently takes the money and drives off.
Narration: The cab stops in front of the company and Sylvia rushes out. She walks in but doesn't sign in heading straight for the elevator only to hear her name making her turn.
Receptionist: Sylvia, you didn't sign in; and I must stay you look ravishing.
Sylvia: Why thank you but I won't be signing in. I didn't actually come here to work.
Receptionist: Oh my God, did he sack you too?
Sylvia: I am afraid not, I was given something worse.
Receptionist: Well dear, good luck.
Narration: Sylvia walks into the elevator and stops at her depart mental floor where the elevator doors open. She walks up to the door and opened it only to see to her surprise that the office was full. Heads begin to turn towards her as Cole walks up to her.
Cole: Miss Sylvia. You are late for work. Every Wednesday, we come to work earlier for cleanup services; and damn you look gorgeous. Need I tell you that that is not the dressing code for coming to work.
Sylvia: You don't need to Cole, but I didn't come to work today. I came to clear my table.
Cole: Darling I am sorry. Be on your way please.
Narration: She walks to her desk and sit down then she begins to pack her stuff into a box.
Casey: So I guess it is true. You are actually leaving me here.
Sylvia: I know right. Seems sorrowful.
Casey: Is that why the CEO called you to his office?
Sylvia: Yes, and no. He called me to tell me to drop the job and take the job offer he had made during my interview.
Casey: A job as what?
Sylvia: His personal assistant.
Casey: Talk about a promotion. So you actually mean that you had turned down his PA job offer just to be here?
Sylvia: I suppose that was what happened.
Narration: Max walks up to Casey and smiled when he sees Sylvia packing her things.
Max: Finally speak of good riddance. So I see you finally found your place out of this department.
Casey: Shut up Max and go do yourself some good.
Narration: Sylvia opens her mouth to speak but then her phone rings. She reaches into her bag and grabs her phone to see an unknown number, she picks it.
Sylvia: Hello, Sylvia Werner here.
Receiver: Hey Sylvia, it is Marcus.
Sylvia: It's you. How may I help you, sir?
Marcus: I need you in my office as soon as possible.
Sylvia: That will not be possible I am packing my things. I will be on my way.
Narration: She ends the call and continues to pack her stuff.
Casey: Who was that?
Sylvia: A jerk.
Casey: Sounded really important.
Sylvia: It is nothing, not really …
Narration: Sylvia's phone rings again and she grabs it and pick the call.
Sylvia: I said that I was coming.
Narration: She ended the call before Marcus could utter a word. The door of the department and everybody rose to their feet. Sylvia shakes her head and turns to see Marcus walk up to her.
Marcus: Twice I called and you keep saying that you coming. What is wrong with you Sylvia?
Sylvia: It is Miss Sylvia, Marcus and as clearly as you can see, I am packing my things.
Marcus: Miss Sylvia, you do know that I could have asked someone to handle this for you. It's no big deal at all.
Sylvia: It is my stuff and my mess, and unlike you, I am used to taking care of my own messes and not order people to do it for me. Maybe that is why you solely need a personal assistant.
Marcus: Miss Sylvia, you might want to bring down your voice unless your colleagues may think that you and I are having a couple's fight here.
Narration: As expected, the statement immediately sealed Sylvia's mouth shut.
Sylvia: Well, you can go back to your office and I will come meet you there.
Marcus: In as much as I would love to obliged, I would rather stay and take you up there myself.
Sylvia: Well, if you insist, besides who am I to order the CEO around in his company?
Narration: Max grabs a chair and hurries to Marcus and offers it to him.
Marcus: Wow, what is your name?
Max: Max Zenger sir.
Marcus: Well max, I am pleased but I would rather seat here on Miss Sylvia's chair.
Sylvia: Why would you do that? He just offered you a chair.
Marcus: I know but I would like to seat on yours so you can take the chair from him and use but I am using yours.
Narration: Sylvia grunts and reaches out to Max who still held the chair in his hand with a face plastered with disappointment. He rolls his eyes at her and takes back the chair. Sylvia Ignores and beckons on Casey to lend her a hand in packing.
Casey: So that is the jerk? The CEO of the company?
Sylvia: Yep, don't tell me that you are shocked too. The first time I met Marcus he was a real dick head and as far as I am concerned; that is what he is.
Casey: you've got some gut calling him by his first name and insulting him. That is something that hasn't happened since I started working here.
Sylvia: It's not a big deal. He was the one who told me to call him by his first name and the first time I saw him, I insulted him and I won't stop just because he is my boss.
Narration: Sylvia now complete with her packing greets Casey good bye and grabbed the carton of her stuff. Marcus stands and they walk out of the department
