IT HAS TO BE REITERATED that Alpha North is not awkward. He is not socially awkward. What he is, what he has been is busy. Busy grappling with his changed reality. Busy, sick, busy, busy busy.
To alleviate Kamil's fears, he had the CT scan done and because he is such a good boyfriend, he is taking it a step further with a day off.
That's right. This Alpha consciously decided to take a whole day off. Not a half day, not some few hours, not because he is sick. A whole day. No working. No coffee. Just him and himself.
Alas, Alpha North remembers too late that he is a workaholic.
He is such a busybody, he has put off him knowing how to live without being hunched over a desk, a nagging headache in his eyes, the smell of (stale) lukewarm coffee ruining his happiness the further he works.
