Chapter 54 - Princess Revenge

We saw a girl hiding behind a door in front of us holding a fireplace poker like a bat, waiting to smack us when we come through.

We walked right through the door, the poker swung at Lila's head; she didn't bother blocking it with magic, just held up her hand catching it.

Lila greeted her, "Why hello sis, nice to see you, been awhile I see you still have the same hobbies."

The girl stared at where Lila caught the poker without using any magic in her hand.

Lila yanked the poker out of her hands; she looked at it while the girl stood there awkwardly for a moment. Lila started bending it, turning it into a collar.

The girl stared in disbelief at her strength.

She tossed it at the girl's neck, and it snapped around it tightly, but not so much that she'd pass out.

"Alexis, drag my dear sister Maria along; she wouldn't want to miss the fun."

We started walking; Alexis used magic to drag her behind by the collar. Maria tried pulling the collar off as she kicked and screamed behind us, it was rather annoying, and Elaria used a spell to shut her up.

We kept walking towards the throne room where Frederick and Lila's second mother were pacing back and forth, with lines of the most elite guards in front of them.

I thought there were 3 children from Lila's second mother, all older than her, she was just much more talented in magic than them causing her to be the best candidate to lead the country, "Don't you have another brother?"

"He's hiding in the garden shed behind the palace, Elaria, please go fetch him."

"Yes, Mrs. Lila."

Lila flung her hand out, blasting the doors open; shards of wood shot towards the guards wounding and killing some.

Sweeping her hand across in front of her, she flung the rest into the wall hard enough they died instantly, leaving only her second mother and brother alive.

"Lila! Stop this at once! You can't harm us; this is treason. If you stop now, you can be forgiven!"

"No, treason is trying to kill the most eligible heir to the throne. This is executing traitors."

"We're your family! You can't kill us!"

"You are not my family."

"You'll be hunted down and killed! Do you want to run for the rest of your life?"

"Hahaha, you think anyone will take revenge for you? The people of this kingdom hate you and Frederick. And other kingdoms won't interfere. Even many of the palace officials dislike you. The church also won't have a problem with the change in leadership and even if the did, they couldn't do anything about it"

Elaria teleported back with a young man about Lila's age restrained inside a barrier.

Her second mother rushed towards him, "Gabe! You bitch, what are you doing with them?!"

Lila put Gabe and Maria in the air above her second mothers head, "Why, I think I'll play with them."

She undid their silencing spells; they started screaming and begging to be let go.

Their bones started breaking as Lila tied their limbs on knots very slowly. It was definitely snap crackle pop.

The mother tried to tackle her but was stopped by a barrier. I figured the whole point was Lila wanted her to watch, so I used magic to restrain her in such a way she had no other choice.

She cried to the screams of her children as they slowly died from having their limbs and bodies twisted and tied.

After a while, Lila finished her artwork; she'd tied the 2 bodies in the shape of a heart.

She dropped them to the floor, clearly finished playing with those 2.

Frederick had tried sneaking off while she was busy, but how could a little mortal escape all of our divine senses. He was now pinned to the flood under Alexis's gravity spell.

Lila turned her attention to him, and the gravity spell was released. He got to his feet and started threatening her.

I looked at him, "Kid, you're in no position to threaten people; you don't even have an army anymore. Shouldn't you rather be trying to please her?"

He shouted at me, "Stay out of this; it has nothing to do with you. And I'm the king, not some kid you can talk to!"

Lila's face turned livid, "You don't get to say anything to him! He's more important than your little king title."

Aww why thank you, but please take that scary expression off you face.

She teleported in front of him and struck out with her fist.

He went flying into the wall slumping down to the floor.

She kept flinging him across the room as if he were a ball, not hitting him hard enough to kill him, just enough to hurt.

When she finished, she lit him on fire at the temperature of a slow roast. He screamed in agony as he was burnt alive; it was a slow painful death.

She walked over to the mother who I still had locked in place; she looked into her eyes.

"Is my art good second mother? I made you a heart as a gift."

I removed the spell keeping her silent, but she still didn't speak; she appeared to be in a traumatized daze.

"Ok well, if you don't want to say anything, I won't make you. Since you're no fun, I'll just smack you till I don't feel like it anymore."

She proceeded to do exactly as she said, with the mother unable to even make a sound as she was slapped to death.

When she was finally done releasing her anger, her face and once white dress were splattered with blood, it dripped of her hand onto the floor, making the only sound in the silent room.

The scent of copper and burnt flesh mingled together, filling the air.

Lila lay down and sprawled out on the floor, grinning.

"So tired."

I picked her up and went over to sit in the throne; shortly after, she fell asleep, nestled comfortably in my arms.

I didn't think she'd care about burying the people who died today, so I told the other girls to put them all in a pile in front of the palace and burn them.

After a while, I looked out the window and saw a large bonfire of corpses.

I leaned my head back and waited for Lila to wake.

---

A few hours later, Lila rubbed her eyes before looking up at me.

"Hello little princess."

Elaria and the other girls were herding all the palace staff outside the throne room where we currently were.

Lila yawned and adjusted where she was sitting to be with her back to me and sitting between my legs.

"The others brought the palace staff to see you if you want to see them."

She called out, "Bring them in."

A group of terrified people were herded through the broken doors to the bottom of the throne.

Lila didn't bother with talking to them and waved her hand turning the ones she had a grudge against to ash, "Leave."

The ones still alive ran like rabbits, leaving the palace grounds as fast as they could.

"Is there anything you found in the palace that I would want to know?"

"Maybe Mrs. Lila. We found a room in the palace where there were many women chained or tied up. We put them in the servants' quarters where there are several baths; then they will leave or maybe we'll have more bodies to clean up.

The treasury is almost empty and won't last long.

The military is nearly all dead.

The grain storehouses are also mostly empty from the government trying to hold the prices down.

In short, the country is broke in every way."

I don't know if Lila cares about any of this, "Are you going to stay here and take over or what do you want to do?"

"Hmm, maybe I'll just stay for a bit and try it. If I like it, then I'll play here for a while; if not, I'll leave."

"Alright, want to live here or somewhere else? I'll just teleport back and forth between here and the magic tower in Ironspire if you want to."

"Let's live here I want to live in a big palace for real once."

It won't be once, I'm planning on building my house into a palace.

"Elaria, get rooms ready for us all."

"Yes, Master."

The three of them left, and we sat in comfortable silence for a bit before I decided I should probably do something.

"I should probably go check on the tower. I don't think anyone will step out of line since I just went looking for the 4th floor manager, then her mansion was blown to pieces. But I should still check on it."

She nodded, "Alright, you do that. I'll see you tonight when you get back."

I stood up, setting her on the floor, and teleported away to my office.

There were some new papers on my desk that the managers had dropped off for me to look through; thankfully, everything looked good, and there was only a minor problem of needing to find a new supplier of Troll corpses.

I gave the job to the 3rd floor since they are the ones using almost all of them and told them to get a reasonable price from the monster corpse processing department, then find a supplier.

Later that night, I teleported to Lila's location and found myself in a bedroom where she was lying in a hot bath.

She noticed me immediately, "Well, don't stand there, get in!"

I undressed and slipped in behind her. She moved her tail in circles close to the surface, causing ripples; watching them as they crashed together.

She seemed to be thinking about something, "What are you thinking about?"

"What am I going to do now?"

"Well, you've lived so far for the purpose of getting back at your second mother. So what do you feel like doing?"

"I feel like doing whatever I feel like."

"Well, let me tell you about a world I want to show you, and you can decide what you want to do, even if it's something as simple as jumping in the elevators; maybe just don't take Elaria."

She gave a small laugh, "Is it the world you're from?"

"Yes."

I launched into a tale about Earth, a magicless world, one full of technological innovations.

After I finished, she asked a few questions before deciding it was incomprehensible and to just see it for herself.

It took her less than a second to decide what she wanted to do next and began wiggling her butt against my already excited little brother.

I picked her up princess-style, drying us off with magic, and took us out of the bathroom into the bedroom, tossing her onto the bed as she giggled.
