That very next morning I had barely opened my eye's but Valentina was already wide awake. I leaned in and kissed her but she only smiled and when I told her good morning she just slightly nodded. I knew something was wrong but just couldn't figure out what it was.
I knew today would be like any other day she would disappear and I wouldn't see her till it got dark. My window to see her was only a few hour's a day, so I had plenty of time on how to plan out each day to make the best out of every minute of the night.
I got up took a shower got dressed kissed her goodbye and started to leave. She gave me that sad face with her bottom lip puckered it was so cute I had to physically drag myself out to go to work. I took a job building pole barns and now I ran a crew. Most crew's would take up to 3 week's to build a good size pole barn style house, but my crew only up to 5 day's for a very large one.
Only a 4 man crew, and we only charged the price of labor not an extra amount for setting poles having to dig, and more for hauling up trusses without using a crane then even more for putting together the pole barn kit. That being said we got called to do most job's in the State's bordering my own.
Soon as I got into work I was already met with an issue. Tom the paperwork guy was about to send out the kit to the job site without headers, bottom plate or even the running board's, upon reviewing the list the guy didn't even add the ridge cap. Seriously I'd have been pissed if we were already there had this thing half framed up and was missing these materials.
After a good butt chewing and a dock in pay for the week I had the truss shop add the material I needed on the truck and drove it myself to the job site. Soon as I pulled in Brad asked me if Tom screwed up again? I just nod saying how hard is it to read a list tell some guy to put it on the truck. Honestly if he wasn't the sun of the boss that owned the company I'd can his ass.
Ten minutes later I found out Brian wouldn't be in today so I became Brian for the day which meant being the roof monkey. We had poles in the ground, side walls up trusses up, framing squared and boarded in now it was time for roof metal it would rain over night so I wanted the roof on.
While up there screwing down metal on a high pitched roof my harness was buckled down to the ridge rafter I was on one side of the roof Mike on the other we had Brian on the ground calling out measurements to hism to cut metal and haul it up to us as we screwed it down. Somehow Brian's lead snapped and he started sliding down the roof screaming for help.
I had to cut my lead rush over the ridge grab his arm and catch the ridge beam but soon as I grabbed for it the exposed freshly cut metal cut through my hand both of us went tumbling off the 12 foot roof. I landed first and my body cushioned the fall for Mike.
While at the hospital I had so many broken bones my Beast could not even quick heal me. The doctor had called Valentina I'd just put her as an emergency contact, when I woke up she was there next to the bed holding my hand looking sad, but also just as quiet. My Goddess being quiet was wrecking me on the inside, all I wanted was for her to smile and act all hyper.
After a couple day's in the hospital I was growing bored and irritable. The nurse who I knew was not wearing panties under the white skirt kept bending over in front of me. The next day I guess the nurse didn't get the hint, while Valentina was out this nurse had been rubbing on me like a cat in heat. I'd dumped her on her ass many time's saying flat out I did not want her.
