As a new day dawned over the main hall, now safely ensconced within the confines of Viru's dungeon gate, the village awoke to a sunlit sky, an environment meticulously crafted by Viru to mirror the outside world. This thoughtful design choice not only preserved a sense of normality for the villagers but also demonstrated Viru's attention to detail in creating a livable and pleasant space for his subordinates. The terrain within the main hall was ideally suited for construction, offering a stable foundation for buildings and the potential for a thriving city.
The previous day's celebrations had provided much-needed relief and bonding after the intense battle, but now Viru turned his focus to the future, particularly the new possibilities unlocked by his advancement to level 6. With Albus at his side, Viru began to delve into the updates and enhancements that came with his level-up, keen to understand and utilize these new capabilities to their fullest extent.
Albus's update brought a wave of optimism to Viru. The establishment of the permanent dungeon significantly lowered the barrier for his subordinates to acquire their own system classes. The requirement was now only 70 percent of the typical criteria, with their loyalty and spirit towards the dungeon and its master compensating for the remainder. This development was a game-changer, enabling Viru's team to grow stronger and more specialized.
Viru, recognizing the potential of this change, immediately instructed Albus to grant system classes to his subordinates as soon as they met the criteria. As he made this command, he eagerly awaited to hear who among his team had already qualified for their systems. Getting a class didn't seem to be very hard at this point.
Albus began listing the subordinates who had received their systems.
The first name that came up was Rex, and the system he had obtained was notably powerful. Rex had been granted the class system of a Magic Swordsman, a highly coveted and versatile class that blended the art of swordsmanship with magical prowess.
Rex, as a Magic Swordsman, can now combine magic with his swordsmanship to become a more lethal warrior on the battlefield. With this ability, he has significantly expanded his combat potential.
Luther's advancement in the system marked another significant boost to the capabilities of Viru's team. Albus informed Viru that Luther had acquired the class of a frozen Axe Warrior, a unique and potent combination that aligned perfectly with Luther's combat style and physical attributes.
As a frozen Axe Warrior, Luther gained the ability to manipulate ice, a skill that added a strategic depth to his already formidable presence on the battlefield.
The revelation of Luther's advancement in the system was yet another stride in strengthening the capabilities of Viru's team. One of his new abilities included summoning ice shields. These shields could be conjured instantaneously, providing immediate protection for himself and his allies.
Additionally, Luther gained the ability to enforce his weapons with ice. This weapon, conjured from the very element he controlled, was a perfect complement to his physical strength and combat style. The ice axes provided Luther with an offensive capability that harmonized with his warrior skills, making him a more balanced and versatile fighter.
Albus informed Viru that Zain had unlocked the Earth Knight class system, a development that was ideally suited to his defensive nature and abilities.
As an earth Knight, Zain acquired the power to manipulate earth, a skill that significantly augmented his role as a defender. This soil attribute allowed him to create sudden traps for his enemies, potentially immobilizing or slowing them down, which was particularly effective against faster or more agile opponents.
Furthermore, Zain could now use his control over the soil to erect defensive barriers during fights. These walls of mud could serve as shields for himself and his allies, offering protection and tactical advantages in various combat scenarios. The ability to rapidly create such defenses provided a significant benefit, allowing Viru's team to adapt quickly to changing situations in battle
The advancements within Viru's team extended beyond the elite members, signifying a collective rise in power and versatility. Albus updated Viru about two rabbit folk archers who had achieved significant milestones in their own right. Each had unlocked a specialized archer class, one attaining the Lightning Archer class and the other the Storm Archer class. Additionally, an exciting development emerged among the rabbit folk: one had unlocked the Builder class, a crucial asset for Viru's plans.
The Lightning Archer possessed the ability to infuse their arrows with lightning, granting them increased speed and devastating electrical damage.
The wind archer, on the other hand, had the capability to manipulate air to enhance his archery. This could mean arrows with increased range and accuracy or even creating gusts of wind to disorient opponents. The wind Archer's skills would be invaluable for controlling the battlefield and providing support from a distance.
Perhaps most significant for the development of Viru's domain was the rabbit folk who unlocked the Builder class. This individual could now contribute to the construction and fortification of the dungeon and the village within it. With enhanced building skills, the Builder could oversee the creation of more stable and efficient structures, improving the living conditions and defensive capabilities of Viru's domain.
With the strategic planning for the first stage of the dungeon underway, Viru called a meeting with his subordinates near his wooden house. This gathering was crucial, as it was time to decide on the terrain and resources needed to make the most of the new space of the first dungeon stage.
Addressing his diverse group, Viru explained the remarkable capability he now possessed – the ability to create a resource-rich area within the first stage of the dungeon. He emphasized that this space could be tailored to meet their needs, whether it involved specific types of flora, fauna, or other natural resources.
The discussion opened with Viru asking for input on the types of resources they would need. This was a collaborative effort, where each member's knowledge and experience could contribute to the overall plan. The rabbit folk, with their expertise in building and agriculture, suggested types of trees and plants that could provide food, materials for construction, and medicinal herbs.
'Viru sama, a constant supply of rocks would prove very valuable to the construction of sturdier houses in the village'
Said the builder, Marve, explaining his need for the basic materials for construction.
'If you could make animals respawn faster in the area, then Viru sama, I would suggest that we capture some wild pigs, deers, horned rabbits, and animals of that sort. Our soldiers can hunt these animals daily, providing a constant food source for the entire village.
We don't have to worry about the water needs because the village already has a well which we can use. When we found this place first, there was an Artesian well here. My brother Marve who's the village builder helped us to build a more convenient well that would allow us to draw water from it. This naturally occurring artesian well was actually the foundation of the village.'
The village chief Navia said.
