"Shamim. You can do it, stand up and fight, I know you can do it!" Jaffery hollered towards Shamim trying to get her up so that she could stop chickening and fight but his shout seemed to have fallen on deaf ears as Shamim was now squatted in a corner with her head covered between her knees.
She had buried herself in her knees deaply while whimpering, what she was awaiting now was for the corrupted beasts to rip her to shreds. She didn't want to see this painful moment in her life and that was why she curled herself up, hiding her face and becoming indifferent about her surroundings.
