Instead, they would either have to use the elevator or the emergency exit. This was also the reason why the corrupted ones didn't get in this floor directly as they were intercepted by the door. Right now, the door could not work due to being destroyed by the claws of the corrupted ones which wanted to enter into this floor eagerly.
At this very moment, Ojo Abraham had also reached to the elevator but when he saw the flickering warning sign on the door, he knew already that the elevator had already been destroyed. He shifted and followed behind Benjamin Sunusi towards the emergency exit upstairs.
"We should also escape." Shamim Mwikhaki urged Jaffery Lutta. Currently, Shamim Mwikhaki was fiddling with a short knife in her hands. This was the knife that she was given.

But the thick conspicuous blood that had splattered all over the mouth of this beast could tell just how many peoplehad perished before its maws.

"We can't fight this thing. It is better if we escape now!" The rest of the people who had not escaped due to their earlier skepticism were now regretting their decision. But Jaffery Lutta didn't regret because he knew that with time, the entire Earth would be fully ravaged by these beings, and just as the Eminence had said, to survive, he definitely needed to become stronger.

However, there were some people who were brave. Paul Nduta was not jittery in the little bit as if this was what he had expected to happen. And just like Paul Nduta, Jaffery Lutta was also the same though he could not remove the slight nervousness in his heart, but that was it, so, he moved. And Jaffery Lutta could also see that Paul Nduta had also decided to retaliate against the beasts.
"Shamim, escape right now, I will hold the beasts back for you." Jaffery Lutta told Shamim Mwikhaki before he approached the beats.
