The evening was cool, a mild wind was sweeping through the village calming the people of the hotness of noon but most of the people weren't ready to appreciate it, it was six o'clock in the evening and the tuner hasn't sang a song no one heard a sound all day, the people had began to spread different rumors scaring themselves until the second in command to the king decided to see the king only then did the people calm down a little and they transferred their hope to the king. A man in his early 40's strolled into the palace with a complicated expression, "good evening your highness" he greeted and the king nodded in acknowledgement as he stroked the hair of the half naked lady laying on his lap, "your highness, the tuner hasn't sang all day" the man reported but the king had no reaction, he squeezed the butts of the woman on his lap and she giggled, "your highness this has never happened before not even our ancestors has reported something like this happening" the man cried and the king frowned "get out Lizzy, I have something to take care of" the king said and the lady slid off the king's lap, rolled her eyes at the king's second in command and strolled away, "you are so noisy Benard, so what if the tuner hasn't sang all day, she is human and she can get sick, must you disturb my fun because of that" the king said as sat up straight "your highness this has never happened before and the people are already getting worried" the second in command said and the king yawned "go tell the people that the people to calm down that the tuner is fine and is just ill" the king said and the second in command frowned, he had always known that the king was a careless person but the present matter was serious, he felt he needed to inform the other chiefs, grimly he walked out of the palace and he almost collided with Turlip, "good evening Mr Benard" she greeted and he nodded in acknowledgement "you must have come to see my father about the strange occurrence that the tuner hasn't sang all day" Ixora said and the second in command sighed " the king didn't give me a satisfactory reply, you both should talk to him" he said as he rubbed his tired brow and Ixora held his hand affectionately, like a daughter looking at her father, "go home and have a good rest Mr Benard and if the tuner still doesn't sing tomorrow we would find something to do to it" she said and the man smiled "of course, Ixora understands me better, I should indeed go home" he muttered, took a long sigh and strolled away after waving goodbye, the ladies strolled into into the palace but their father was nowhere to be found, they strolled upstairs to Turlip's room and Ixora put on a cheeky smile, "how was my acting downstairs?" She asked "it's ok, atleast it works for foolish people" Turlip said and Ixora frowned "you are so boring, I only want praises but you never give me good ones" Ixora muttered "have you spoken to your mother" Turlip switched the topic and Ixora's expression turned bright, "I knew you loved my acting, if you didn't, you won't ask me to convince mum" Ixora said and Turlip sighed "well, she asked me to take you as far as I can, it seems you have been pissing her off lately" Ixora muttered and Turlip smirked, "I want to see how this search for the tuner is going to go" she mumbled and turned to her laptop "don't you think that blonde girl would ruin your house before tomorrow" Ixora asked as she walked to the door "she would, so grab your brooms when you are coming tomorrow" Turlip said and Ixora grunted.
