"Then no need to worry about that right" Wang Ye said as he stroked her shoulders.
" I have an idea" Magret said with excitement.
" What is it" Wang Ye asked.
"I think you should get to know Nick. How about I introduce you two" Magret said as she raised her brows at him.
" I don't think it's that simple " said Wang Ye.
"Oh baby come on , just agree to it. it will help if you guys are also partners" Magret added.
" okay whatever will make you happy" Wang Ye said as he smiled at her.
" Thanks dear" Màgret said happily.
After a while, Magret left the hotel for her apartment.They were moving into their new house that weekend.
" You are back miss Magret" Julie said with a tease.
" Yes dear am back" Magret said with a sweet smile before dragging Julie to sit down.
" So what's going on" Matter asked.
"What?" Julie asked back.
" The rumors about that perfume CEO and Nick." Magret asked with a lot of worry.
" What about them?" Julie asked a little bit confused.
" So wait you haven't checked today's news right" Magret asked and Julie nodded.
" So articles are saying that there may be a possible romance between the two" Magret added.
" But why are they saying that?" asked Julie.
" Yesterday on the red carpet Nick said he came for a special someone after that the two were seen chatting together. When she was leaving the venue yesterday, some of the reporters asked whether she was his special someone but instead of clarifying it, she just smiled and left without saying anything. since silence means consent, then she confirmed it by staying silent." Magret said.
" I guessed something was wrong from the first time we met. it just didn't fit for her to personally come for the contract submission but she did and even her attitude wasn't that pleasant. Sis, don't worry because am good with Nick. And guess what?" Julie said with shyly.
" What?" asked Magret.
"We had our first kiss yesterday" Julie added shyly.
" What, am so happy for you" Magret said but at that moment Julie's phone started ringing.
" Hello" Julie said.
" Hello, do you have some time tommorow." The person on the order side of the line asked.
"yes" Julie said.
" How about we have dinner with my father tomorrow" The person asked.
" okay then" Julie said a little bit nervous.
" What happened" Magret asked alarmed.
" Nick wants me to meet his father tomorrow" Julie said with wide eyes.
" What?. That's so good. let me arrange your outfit tomorrow" Magret said as she stood up.
" But am nervous. What if his father doesn't like me " Julie asked with worry.
" Why wouldn't he?" Magret asked as she sat back down.
" Am a girl with no background. I only have you as my family" Julie said as she became sad.
" What are you saying. Look at your impressive achievement at the museum within one year of it's establishment. Who wouldn't want a capable daughter in-law and besides you just have to be yourself when you go there tomorrow." Magret encouraged.
" But I never told Nick about this" Julie said.
" About your family?, You can tell him this evening. You don't have to feel inferior to him. I can see that he loves you very much from the way he even stares at you." Magret added.
" Okay I will meet up tonight" Julie said before taking her phone and texting Nick.
" Now that's more like you. I have to go and prepare your outfit for tommorow" Magret said before going to tape the packed boxes.
After sometime the two finished with their packing and moved out of their old apartment.
That was the first time that Magret had been to the the new house and she was really amazed. Nick really did well picking the house as it really suited their taste. She was really happy with their new house.
" I have to get ready as in a while Nick would be picking me up " Julie said after they were done arranging their things.
" Okay am also heading in a while out to meet my baby" Magret said as she winked at Julie which made the two of them burst into series of uncontrollable luaghter.
After sometime Nick finnaly arrived at Julie's place.
" He's already here so am going out." Julie said as walked out.
" Don't be nervous just tell him everything. Am sure he will understand you" Magret said as she waved at Julie while she got ready to leave.
Julie was wearing a mini black skirt with a white top and black boots. This gave her and youthful and trendy vibe. As she walked out, she didn't fail to amaze Nick and he also did same to her. This time they drove to the beach.
" You wanted to talk about something, what is it" Nick asked gently.
" Yes I wanted to tell you about my family since you wanted me to meet with your father." Julie said.
" Ok then am all ears for my girlfriend" Nick said with a warm smile.
" So my mother died when I was just six from an accident which left my dad handicapped. We used my parents savings along with the compensation that his company gave him after he lost his job to take care of ourselves. Throughout this time,my father self taught me everything about business in the house while he invited his friends to teach me languages, art and socialization. when I was ten years, the money that we had was almost used up and so I had to look for work.
I searched and searched but due to my age, Nobody was willing to hire me untill I met Magret who was a noodle shop owner at the time. As she couldn't also complete college due to lack of money, she took pity on me and hired me. The two of us worked really hard at the shop until it got to my sixteenth birthday. Few weeks after I got sixteen, my father died and so Magret took me in" Julie said sadly as tears run down her cheeks.
" What about your relatives?" Nick asked as he wiped her tears.
" Since the accident none of them came. I don't even know them." Julie added.
" It's okay . You don't really have to worry about that. My father only cares if I love the girl I want to marry and nothing else." Nick said as he wrapped her in a warm hug.
