Been made to fend for herself by the age of seven ,Julie promised herself to be one of the most powerful persons in her city. she suffered all kinds of humiliation be it from her relatives or the society.
Julie's parents were involved in a car accident when she was just six leading to her losing her mom and her dad being handicapped.She grew up in Atlanta ,where dreams were like blueprints. Although her parents were not rich, they weren't poor either but that's what she thought. They were an average but descent family. After the accident, the family of three now left with two were abandoned by their relatives.Being faced with the sudden changes, the six year old Julie found it hard to adapt and accept reality and even though her father really felt bad for her, he couldn't do anything about it because after the accident, he lost both his legs and job.
He encouraged his daughter not to be discouraged and that in anything she should try her best to defend herself and stand for her self, nothing should be able to discourage her or make her feel worse or inferior to others. He then told her he had some savings that would help them survive for some years which included her mother's savings too but there's this thing that her father never told her and that was , he was actually a rich business man and this, even his relatives didn't know because he always kept a low profile with his wife.
Julie has been intelligent and matured since her early year's so it's no surprise her father wants to make her strong by doing that and so her life was very hard.she didn't attend school but her father self tuaght her business and hired private tutors to teach her both languages, art and socialization but she thought they were her father's friends who tried to help them as her father made her to believe that. All this while, Her father also taught her to be kind,respectful and also how to protect her didnity as a woman without depending on men to survive and she also learned how to cook from him. she was also the one doing all the house chores.
At the age of ten, her father urged her to start working and provide for the family as their savings were running short. Being young and not experienced in any work activity, she didn't know what to do and thought it was too hard for her but when she saw her father, she forced her self to work hard. she went to look for jobs but since she was very young , no one considered her telling her she was so young for work. she went home that day extremely saddened and heartbroken but her father encouraged her not to give up just yet because it was too early for her to do that. so the next day, she went out very motivated but that continued on till the eight day when she came across a noodle shop.
She pleaded with the lady boss but was rejected because there wasn't any suitable work at the shop for her but after she told her story and pleaded again the woman decided to employ her due to sympathy but the lady boss didn't know this simple help will bring her fortune in the future and so she was employed to clean tables and chairs before the shop opens and after the shop closes. That night Julie went home extremely happy. she told her father about everything that happened and how she was to report to work the next day. The next day the ten year old Julie woke up early for work as the shop opened at nine am and closed at five pm and so she was supposed to be there by eight am. Her father prepared her breakfast and told her to work hard.
That day, Julie was very happy as her lady boss who was madam Magret was very good to her and tuaght her the basics of the work. After work that day, her boss gave her some noodles and around twenty dollars to take home. when she reached home, she received her usual tutoring. Her father was silently proud of her.This went on and she developed a good relationship with her boss over the years.
Now Julie is fifteen and was very beautiful and intelligent. Apart from that she was very hard-working. As the years went by her father's health also deteroriated. one day after coming back from work, her father called her and told her to always be good to people who needed help if she had it. By this time, she already knew everything about business be it data analysis, statistics or business administration, and knew almost every famous painter and thier works and was also very good at using the brush. she was also proficient in seven languages apart from English . These languages were French,Spanish,German,Chinese,Italia,Arabic and Russian .
A few months later, Julie celebrated her sixteenth birthday with her dad.Her dad gave her a pendant for her birthday and it made her really happy as it was the first gift she recieved from her dad on her birthday after he got into a car accident.Her boss also gave her a gift and a raise in payment.she told her dad about it and he was really proud of her. During this period of ten years , she really suffered a lot. Three weeks after her birthday, she was at work when she received a call from the hospital that her father had been admitted. Her boss accompanied her to the hospital but by the time she reached there, he was already on his last breath.He told her to work hard and that he was very proud of her but he will always be with her as her mother was always with them. shortly after that, her father passed away.
