"Who are you?" asked Hansu, looking back.
The appearance of a strange man sitting on the rear passenger seat made Hansu even more frightened because he was the same man who appeared at the hospital earlier.
"Why are you here? Who the hell are you!!" asked Hansu—shouting until the veins around his neck seemed so clear.
"Howl… I'm Howl."
Howl moves from his seat—starts to approach Hansu whose face looks pale with a cold sweat wetting all over his body. Howl is getting closer to a man who still doesn't realize his mistake.
"Howl? Don't be funny! Who the hell are you!!"
"Why? Howl asked Howl.
Howl smiled meaningfully before he stopped his finger. In a flash the eyes all changed.
They're in a car that's driving at high speed. The man looks half drunk because of the alcohol he drank at the party last night. Without caring about the danger in front of his eyes, the man continued to drive his car at high speed.
"Stop drinking, you can harm others," Howl said casually because no matter how fast the car goes, it won't affect him.
"Who are you? Why did you get in my car?" asked the man who tried to sober himself up from alcoholism.
Howl sees a name tag falling under his feet—Howl picks up the name tag.
"Ah … Your name is Hansu Park."
Hansu laughed as if someone was tickling her and said, "It's a cool name, no, my mom gave me the name. He's so rich, I can do anything with his money."
"I know. You're just a useless kid who only troubles others. Do you have any idea how much money he spends to solve each of your problems?" Howl asked.
"I don't care." Hansu smiled at Howl.
"Look, in front of the red light!"
Robin looked forward. His face was silent for a moment, when he realized deep in front of her a woman was standing in the middle of a red light. She cried and kept calling him. On the opposite side of the street he saw himself standing screaming—waving his hands as if telling him something.
"Stop the car!! Stop! Hya! Stop!
Robin's getting confused by the situation she's in right now. The car is still moving fast and may soon approach the middle-aged woman in front of him.
"She's your mother." Howl said.
"What?"
"Look! That woman is your mother …,"
The woman's figure is becoming clearer, Hansu's pupils are getting bigger. One thing he realized was that the other person was on the side of the road—screaming to stop the car immediately before hitting his mother, who was standing as if unable to move, looking at his crying.
"Mom!! Get out of there!! Mom!! Get out of there, please …!!"
Hansu tried his best to call his mother who seemed unable to hear his voice. His legs can't be moved at all. He could only stand across the street looking at himself in a high-speed car that was about to hit his own mother.
"Please! Somebody help my mom!! Please!! Stop myself!! I beg you …" Hansu knelt down limp—crying to see the car he was carrying approaching, when he could stand still.
"You have to feel it, so you know it."
"I beg to save my mother, I beg you."
Hansu tries to beg the Howl who stands before him. Hansu realized that this man wasn't just a human being. He had realized that the pride attached to him would be a boomerang for his life.
The car drew closer—just in a matter of seconds, in front of his eyes the other self-controlled car crashed at high speed, until his mother bounced away—was lying in the middle of the road. Blood keeps flowing out uncontrollably. No one was there but Hansu could finally run to her mother.
Hugging his mother's bloodthirsty body. A guilt that can never be forgotten, because he killed his own mother. Hansu can only cry. And the other self just ran away.
"I'm sorry, Mom. I'm sorry …"
Howl walks slowly by putting both hands in one coat. Standing on the blood of a dead man.
"How? Doesn't it hurt?" Howl asked.
Hansu's eyes glare at Howl filled with fear and injustice.
"Anger … sorrow … That's how they feel. All the people you've hurt." Howl said.
"And also your mother. She's a mother who will do everything she can to protect you. Why? Do you know why he's been spoiling you all this time? Give me what you want? To cover up all the crimes you committed? Do you want to know why?" Howl asked.
"Why …?"
"Because she loves you so much. You are the most precious child more than her own life. You're the only reason to live. But he realized his mistake," Howl said.
Hansu is speechless, confused, staring at Howl, who is slowly sitting before him.
In Hansu's eyes mother was a figure like a card that could be used as she pleases. A stupid old woman he could use for his pleasure, because he knew that she would do anything for him.
"Her biggest mistake is that she misled you. She has realized that excessive affection doesn't make you what you are. Every day she tries to convince herself not to regret giving birth to you. But she can't do that. It's too late to come back … That's why she always kneels, cries, receives all the wounds. She blames herself, tortures herself to make up for all the mistakes you've made. She kept praying for a miracle to change you. But it seems you will never realize the devil has frozen your heart."
Hansu's voice grew louder after hearing Howl's words. He truly regretted all his actions that turned out to have hurt his own mother. Everything seems so real. The pain and tears he feels right now are really so real.
However, all of them are mirages that Howl has done to revive humans who still get the chance to make amends.
It's all back to the way it was. Hansu cries in the midst of a rush of rain—at a bus stop full of people—they stare confusedly at the man crying like a newborn baby.
The bus is coming. One passenger at a time got into the bus. Howl, who has been sitting by the bus window—looks at Hansu who is still crying regretting all his mistakes. Slowly the bus began to drive away.
