Chereads / The God Of Guardian Cat / Chapter 5 - Chapter 5

Chapter 5 - Chapter 5

A light came in so bright but slowly disappeared that there was a sight of a green meadow so wide, that his eyes could not believe what was before him.

"Woah … This is so incredible!!"

"You shouldn't have crossed the line …

The soft voice that emerges from Anna's back turns, the mysterious man who has helped her from a strange creature—walking through it just like that. Anna still seemed confused, seeing the mysterious man walking towards the pasture until then several cats began to appear to her.

Not only a few cats, but hundreds of cats began walking towards tall men, facing like princes in fairyland. Anna was amazed to see him again.

When Anna just wanted to step her foot out of the door—her right leg immediately stopped, when Anna remembered the man's words, so that she wouldn't cross the line.

"Hello …!! "Hello!!" Anna sighed as she waved without fear.

Anna seemed to believe that he wouldn't do anything bad to her. Anna waved her hand so that he could see where she was. His face was so bright when the man started to allow it.

"Am I allowed to go there?!" Anna screamed so that her voice could reach the man who was far enough away with her.

The man didn't answer, rather Anna was ignored. Anna's mouth was sullen—disappointed at not being able to play with those adorable cats. Until suddenly a black cat came and sat by her side quietly.

Anna was confused when her eyes were on the blue-eyed black cat. Stayed long enough until the cat began to wink, as a welcome.

The black cat was gentle, walking as if telling Anna to follow him. Without worrying about anything, Anna followed those cute footsteps. Until she reaches where the man is.

A gust of wind passed through them, like a magic spell that kept Anna afloat with a mysterious man in front of her today. His face was very different from what he had seen before.

"He's like a human."

Anna murmured in her heart, still fascinated by the handsome face that made her heart tremble. She is not the type of woman who is fascinated or vibrates with any handsome man, but is different from that man.

"He's handsome."

"Merry! Why did you bring her here? In the dirt!"

The black cat went off to ignore the landlord.

"The cat's name is Merry? The cat's can understand human language?" Anna asked.

The man kept ignoring Anna and was busy feeding the adorable cats. The man slowly began to walk—soon Anna followed him with a shower of questions until he opened his mouth.

"Are you the owner of this house? How many cats do you keep? How can you live in a place like this? Did that happen last night really? It wasn't a dream, was it? Then who are you? Can I say—"

Suddenly the man immediately turned around to make Anna's face hit by her chest which was so big. Anna tried to balance her body—standing upright before the man who looked at her flatly.

"I'm Anna." What's your name?" Anna asked as she reached out.

"This's first time I saw a human being talkative,"

"Not all. Maybe I'm one of the seven billion people on earth. What's your name?" Anna replied with a strange smile and came back to ask because she had not received an answer.

The man breathed a heavy sigh at Anna.

"You better get out of this place quick, 'cause your partner is busy looking for you." he said.

"Huh! Right! They must be worried about me, how many days have I been here?" Anna asked.

"You slept for 48 hours."

"Huh! OH. MY. GOD! You fool!"

Anna was busy cursing herself.

"But how do I get out of here? I don't even know where this is?" Anna asked.

The man again walked away toward the entrance—ignoring Anna who was rushing to follow him.

Keep walking through every room in this big house. It seems that the mystery man only lives alone in a house this big. So many antiques and jars looked so precious.

The door begins to open, Anna enters a white stone walkway, with colorful flowers running down every street. Anna was once again fascinated by the beauty of this place that felt like heaven. Even the living air is so light and makes the lungs feel healthy. If he could live in this place longer, maybe he'd be over 100 years old and stay young.

Anna realizes one thing, when faced with a white gate so high. The man stopped walking, and so did Anna.

"You'll only walk 5 meters after you get out of this gate, and then you'll find one wooden door. That's where the exit is." he said so loudly.

"All right. I understand. I thank you for saving my life. I didn't know you were actually human or anything. But I hope we meet again. Thank you." Anna said then started opening the door, walking as the man who didn't want to say his name.

Anna began to find a worn wooden door at the end of her partner. It's strange to go through a trail full of large, towering trees. It was so quiet and there was only a rustling sound of leaves being swept away by the wind.

Open the door slowly. Anna's eyes were both wide open as she saw the entrance she had been passing through. It looks cloudy and there's no one there. Until suddenly a car stopped in front of Anna.

"Senior!!"

That familiar voice immediately broke Anna's mind. She looked back again—in the direction of the door that she had just passed by, strangely enough he didn't find any way there. Just a little old shack. This is so weird. Everything seems to disappear like a spell.

Then the man who saved himself, where was he?

"Senior Anna? Are you all right?!" asked the frantic young man who ran up to her.

"Senior! You've been everywhere, we've been looking everywhere for you! We even asked a lot of people to search the woods, but you're here!!"

"Suho!"

"Yes, why?"

"What's the date?" Anna asked with a serious face.

"On August 21st," Suho replied.

"So I disappeared for 24 hours?" Anna asked.

"No. It's 26 hours and 30 minutes. Senior, are you really okay? Is anyone hurt?" Suho asked with concern for seniors who are highly respected and already considered like his own older sister.

"What? I just disappeared that long? No, I've slept 48 hours," Anna said.
