"Alpha it's me!" Zane yelled bleeding from the sides of his mouth, I blinked back realizing what I just did.
Slowly I removed my hold on his shirt, my anger dwindling.
What the hell just happened?
Did I just beat up my beta for no reason?
I looked back at Romie whose eyes were widened a fraction, she had lovely eyes which quickly drifted from stunned to scared judging by the way I was staring at her.
What was this feeling that wanted me to shield her away from every man's touch?
Just one look at Zane leaning into her my vision blurred and my anger took over.
I had never felt the way I felt for her with anyone else.
"It's the mate bond" my wolf growled and suddenly I felt irritated.
I walked up to her and my heart broke a bit when she stepped back quickly but I quickly hid the emotion grabbing her hand and pulling her through the room.
