It was amazing to be greeted with such a warm welcome. Jordan was right. His parents are the kindest person I have ever met. And being embraced in a loving situation like that was my first time.
Let's just say my family wasn't the warmest people out there. And I used to grow up around a family who rarely showed their love. A cold one indeed. But that is what I had grown up to. So, Jordan's family is like a breath of fresh air for me. Something new that made me eager to delve deeper.
"I should see Bruce, Kendra. Would you excuse me?" Rosalie asked me after we had spent the past one hour talking together.
