It was another nightmare.
I woke up in a cold sweat only to find the things I had just seen were only a dream. I saw a dream where Roman chained me up in his dungeon. Away from the light and alone in the dark.
There was no way my brother would do that to me, right? After all, I am his only sister. The only family he has.
I rose and stood on my feet. It was early in the morning but I already heard so much ruckus downstairs. I wondered if Roman was with his underlings again. I hated those guys. I always smelled blood from them every time they were here. And I despised that smell being in my house.
I walked downstairs and passed Roman's office. I heard those laugh from inside. How many of them are in there? Three? Five?
Ah, that smell again. That bloody smell that was stinging my nose. They probably had just back from their weekly hunt. Something that was coined in a light term while in fact, a truly horrifying activity.
