Spring had come and the warmth started filling the air. The weather was really nice outside and it must be good to have a picnic with Alice. Just like what I had promised to her.
Besides, it was our anniversary. The day that marked our one-year journey into the relationship. A perfect excuse to do some trip with my pregnant wife.
"Hey, Baby." I greeted Alice who was sitting with Ruth in our backyard.
She turned and gave a smile to me.
"Hey, Harvey."
Then Ruth, as if she was understanding the situation, excused herself and went back to the kitchen. I took a seat next to her and stole a kiss before plopping myself into the comfortable chair.
"It's our anniversary today." She said while sipping on her tea.
"I know. Happy anniversary, Baby."
