Harvey
The trial for Sherri's case had finished now. We decided the death penalty wasn't the best punishment for her. Besides, Elliott would get an aftermath if he saw her daughter being hanged in front of his own eyes. No matter how hard he tried to conceal it, a Dad's feelings wouldn't ever be changed for his daughter. It would leave scars and we were afraid would worsen Elliott's mental health.
So we came up with another solution which was a life sentence behind bars. I believed twenty years serving in prison would fix her. That was what we thought. The decision was best for the pack and the father himself.
I came home with a light heart. Every problem had been solved and it was my turn to spend the rest of my days with Alice. Cuddling sounded good now. Maybe I would do that after cooking and feeding her dinner.
What should I cook today though?
"What are you thinking, Harvey? You looked so serious."
