My team had been dispatched to spy on Onyx Forest for these past few weeks. I thought everything would be fine. I thought those humans were mere hikers or something like that. But boy, I was mistaken.
This morning, I got a message from Jordan who asked to meet me. It was so sudden and out of the blue. I could smell the urgency even from far away. I believe our investigation has yielded a result. And if I was right, they found something bad.
I quickly rushed from my bed but my foot stopped for a while. I glanced at Alice who was sleeping so tight. How long had I been this busy? I even vaguely remember when was the last time we had spent time together. Our last sex? I thought it was a week ago. And it was solely plain sex without any heat like before because I couldn't take off the works from my brain.
