Chapter 7 - Chpt 7 Battle for the Primal pearl 1

Alvana and Aster were running behind Elena when she suddenly stopped and said, "We're here; the portal to the Otherworld.

Alvana looked around for a moment and said, "There is no portal here, only trees and grass.

Elena smiled and replied, "To be a king, you must be observant and pay attention to the little things." picked up a few odd-looking pebbles from the ground and tossed them in a whimsical yet orderly manner. Immediately, the stones began to float, creating a radiant light that formed a connection between them. Suddenly, BOOM! A beam of light shot into the sky, so blinding that the princess's hidden guards, who were watching from their concealed positions, could not help but squint. If there had been people nearby, they would have rushed to the scene; however, fortunately for Elena, they were deep in the forest.

The princess, already close to Elena's location, noticed the beam of light and quickened her pace, believing they had found a way to harness the power of the pearl. She quickly signalled her concealed guards, instructing them to prevent anyone from leaving, regardless of the circumstances.

After the beam of light faded, a magnificent golden door appeared before Elena, and Co and Alvana couldn't help but gaze in awe at this stunning entrance.

Elena looked at Alvana and Aster, offering a warm smile as she reflected on all they had endured to reach this moment. She quickly retrieved the primal pearl and glanced around to ensure no one was watching. After confirming that they were alone, she approached Alvana and Aster, smiling as she said, No matter what happens, always remember that I love you both, and I will be with you forever, even if I have to confront Hades. i promise. A few drops of tears couldn't help but drop from Elena's eyes.

Elena quickly wiped her tears as she looked at the two pieces of primal pearl in her hands. She took in a deep breath as she looked at Alvana and Alvan again, and slowly, she started chanting some weird words.

The princess had already arrived at the location of her hidden guards. Upon witnessing Elena's actions, she felt a surge of intrigue. Consequently, she instructed her guards to wait and observe the unfolding events while preparing to capture them.

Askhleim ridwaishi remumbu zerruuunda." As Elena continued her incantation, runes began to materialise on her body. With each rune that appeared, her chanting grew more intense. Suddenly, Aster began to convulse; the words Elena was chanting were a dragon incantation, and Aster had long been under its influence. Alvana was taken aback by what he witnessed next.

Elena suddenly began to grow in height and size, and horns emerged on her head as she transformed into her full dragon form. Alvana stared in shock; this was the first time, since he learnt that his mother was a dragon, that he was witnessing her true form. He couldn't help but acknowledge her majesty.

Alvana, who appeared to have recalled something, suddenly looked around but could not find Aster. "Where's Aster?" he wondered.

"Aster!" Alvana called out, but received no response.

Alvana shouted, but all he received in return was silence. If Alvana had known what had happened to Aster, he wouldn't have been so worried. While Alvana continued searching for Aster, a fiery red, ferocious-looking dragon suddenly materialised out of nowhere. This sight terrified Alvana, as he feared the dragon had come to harm him and his mother.

The dragon, Aster, looked at Alvana and said, "We're surrounded; prepare for battle!"

Alvana was jolted out of his daze by Aster's words. How were they surrounded? Who was this dragon that had suddenly appeared? Slowly but surely, he would find out.

Aster approached the transformed Elena and bowed before her. "Mother, your son has awakened.

"Awakened? Could that be... Aster! Alvana was shocked; so the dragon was Aster, and judging by his words, he seemed to have awakened.

Elena took out the two pieces of the primal pearl, and in an instant, the pearls moved toward Aster and Alvana. The pearls halted a few inches in front of Alvana and Aster, respectively, emitting a soft hum, as if urging them to approach. After a few moments, the pearls suddenly drew closer to Alvana and Aster and then vanished. Alvana was taken aback—where had the pearls gone, and why did they feel so familiar to him? He didn't dwell on this for long, as Elena's next words made him more aware of his surroundings.

"Here they come."

"Hahaha," the princesses laughed as they closed in on Elena and her companions.

"Who would have thought I would witness a dragon in this lifetime, let alone two? The heavens must truly be favouring this princess."

"What do you want?" Elena asked, while signalling to Aster and Alvana to prepare to rush inside the golden door.

"Hehe," the princess giggled. "So, now you think you have the right to bargain with this princess, huh? What I want... is your life." As soon as the princess said this, her hidden guards emerged from their concealment.

Alvana wanted to rush toward the princess, but upon seeing Elena's expression, he restrained himself. Unbeknownst to them, one of the princess's guards, skilled in the arts of assassination and stealth, had already crept up behind Alvana and was poised to strike at any command from the princess.

"Unfortunately, my life is not something you can simply demand, Elena said coldly.

"Mmm, stubborn, are we? I'll break you." The princess gestured, and immediately, the guard who had crept up behind Alvana pinned his neck with his dagger.

Roar! Elena bellowed in fury upon witnessing this. Her child was her top priority, and she would never allow anything to harm him.

"A single step, and it would be his head rolling.

Elena was in a dilemma, which prevented her from making a decision.

Meanwhile, Aster had already devised a plan to confront the princess. Therefore, when he witnessed the guard taking Alvana hostage, he had already condemned the guard to death in his mind.

"Die!" Suddenly, the guard's head burst open.

The guard passed away without knowing how he died.

"You think you can take my brother hostage, huh? Dream on.

Hehe, this is getting interesting, the princess giggled.

"Since you wish to challenge me, do not blame this princess for being ruthless."

Immediately, the temperature plummeted dramatically, and a menacing aura emanated from the princess.

"It seems you have forgotten this princess's other name: THE DEVIL'S ANGEL."
